Oh Sweetie, I know what you are talking about. It is called Acne scarring or hyperpigmentation. The best solution for that is to use Proactiv Solution to prevent more break-outs and then it will lighten the dark spots as well. There is also a lightening cream that has 2% Hydroquinone in it that will help lighten dark spots. You will see results very quickly. Also, I heard that drinking or eating caffeine will actually darken the scars so stay away from tea, coffee and chocolate. And wear Sunscreen everyday even if it is cloudy.

please don't go for laser treatments. did it a few months ago. cost a fortune. didn't even finish the treatment, but believe me i must have done about 12 sessions. go see a dermatologist ask her to recommend a skin lightening cream. depending on your skin tone. laser is a waste of money. I've wasted over 拢1000.oo REGRET

I don't know if you've tried this or not..but for scars I think real aloe is a wonder...break off a branch from a living plant and use the clear ooz on the scars and splotches...it has helped family memebers, it might for you as well..much luck.
