i have some spots on face, not loads, though im sick of the sight of them whenever they appear. any tips on how to get rid of them?Anybody know any good tips for getting rid of spots?
hi huni, cleanse your face with an antibacterial cleanser [tee tree is fab] once in the morning and again at night ,.at night time apply sudo cream on the spots, drink plenty of water every day[you will see results if you stick to drinking plenty of water as it flushes out the toxins in your body.]also try to cut out foods with yeast in ,as to much yeast in your body can cause spots etc and go to a health shop and ask about the herbal tablets';acidphilous';.these tablets wil help you have a healthy gut plus fight the yeast in your body !! hope this helps ,tke care, love from me!!
ps...asda do a brill face cleanser called pure skin, its got tea tree and witch hazel in [which is spot fighting ingredients ]and it costs 1.99 its called';clear skin!!Anybody know any good tips for getting rid of spots?
1.Wash your face twice a day with cleanser and toner. DONT use a facecloth, it spreads the bacteria! And when drying your face, pat dry with a clean towel, dont drag it over your skin cos again, it'll spread.
2.Keep your hair off your face, especially fringes and layers (spreading bacteria!).
3. Don't touch your face with your hands if you can help it, and dont let others touch it (again with the spreading!).
4. At night, tie back your hair and make sure you change your pillow case regularly.
5. If you wear make up, make sure to get rid of it all at night. In fact, try not to wear make up at all, give your face a chance to breathe. If you really cant go without it, then try at least one day a week, maybe if you're staying home.
6. For really red spots, use sudocreme at night to take away redness. Also, toothpaste- this does sting some people, though.
7. Drink LOTS of water every day! I mean, lots!
8. Watch your diet. Lots of sugar (even in fruit) is terrible for your skin, as is greasy fatty foods. Eat lots of vegetables, and again with the water! ;)
9. Get at least 8 hours sleep every night to give you body a chance to rest and catch up.
If this doesn't help after a few weeks, see your doctor and they'll prescribe something for you. Sometimes girls go on the contraceptive pill to help their skin, but this is fairly extreme, and you may not need to go that far. Good luck! :)
Hey,
I suffer with spots aswell, over the last few years i've tried x amount of products, like clearisil, T-Zone etc.
Non of them working.. a total waste of money.
So now i've decided to use natural products, reading reviews on the net they sound much more effective
Heres a video for a DIY acne/scar reducing mask + toner you can make.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e--d_n073鈥?/a>
Be sure to check it out ;)
Its great.
Some really good natural ingredients that is kind to the skin are:
Honey ( sticky.. i know) but reading reviews and researching on this product i have found out that the natural nutrients in honey rejuvinate and reduce redness, aswell as makein the skin much more softer straight away!
Tea Tree Oil is really good too, it has the same benefits as the honey, your can get tea tree oil from holland and barrat aswell as your local grocery store i think.
Green Tea helps get rid of all your bad toxins, and leaves you feeling refreshed inturn helping make your skin better.
Apple Cider Vingar, or just cider vinegar is good too...
All is explained inmore detail in the video!
Be patient, and wait a few weeks to see the result.
Hope ive helped,
XXX
Ok i've had acne for 6 years. I've used everything you could think of, harsh scrubs and gels even stuff from the doctor but the best thing i hve found is the natural stuff!
I know your thinking, natural gentle clensing wont do anything for spots but trust me i only ever get a couple of spots a month now.
I use:
Liz Earle clense and polish clenser
Its made of natural ingrdients and is nice to your skin. This helps your skin repair itself instead of attacking it with harsh chemicals.
Check out a range of natural clensers and give it a go.
:)
im spot prone, when i get rid of one spot, another one comes! nothing works better than savlon antiseptic liquid. dont dilute it like it says, use it concentrated. i had a GIANT spot today, the size of a pea, it was very red but i put savlon on and within 10 hours it completely disappeared.
try it, u'll love the stuff :)
good luck :)
alcohol. alcohol will draw out the moisture, that's why people say toothpaste because it contains it, and all the spot stuff you buy, contains alcohol.
keep your face clean, wash hands before putting moisturiser or cream on it and go to doctor for medicine
use tea tree oil twice a day it helps me.
WELL,WHATS THE CORRECT TERM FOR THEM,IS IT PIMPLES WHAT?
