sounds like razor burn. If you're shaving delicate skin, like under your arms, make sure that you're using lots of gel, shaving cream, or soap when you shave.

Try using some aloe vera or tea tree to help soothe the area. aloe vera is even better and might last longer than the creams you're using on the areas now.How can i get rid of red spots after shaving?
Before and after you shave, wash the area to be shaved with some antibac soap, sometimes shaving will leave your pores open to infection.

Use a good quality razor (men's are better, I think) and some kind of shaving lotion, I like Aveeno, don't like Skintimate at all.

Make sure the shower is hot and steamy, it opens the pores. Try shaving with the grain, not against it. You may not get as close of a shave, but the follicle won't be lifted as much and is less likely to get irritated.

If you see bumps starting to form, keep the area clean, washing with antibac soap and applying a thin layer of something like Neosporin.

Good luck! :)
I had the same problem I have found out that there is no absolute answer for your problem.

I use the gillette fusion power razor which doesn't leave as much red spots. I have also seen on tv if you mix regular foam shaving cream with shaving gel it gives you a better shave and if you didn't take a shower you can use a hot towel.

It works for me most of the time good luck
It sounds like they're ingrown hairs to me. The best thing you can do it exfoliate with a body brush before shaving, using long sweeping movements for the ankle to the knee and circular movements on the thigh. Shave your legs and after use an body scrub, moisturize afterwards! The first few times you do this you may find you get more spots as it's bringing all the bad oills out of your legs but they will be clear soon after! Good luck! x
you could be sensitive to some creams

and having an alegic reaction

try usinng your hair conditioner as a

shaving cream

it works great, and saves you money
A lot of people are helped by applying a liquid astringent afterwards -- it burns but it often seals the pores.
They are probably ingrown hairs. Go and buy a product called Tend Skin. Its is pricey but soooo worth it.
Try using a razor without any strip- the strip causes allergies to the skin on some people.
put baby oil on your skin before you shave, then shaving cream. It will reduce razor burn.
use something like nair so that you dont even have to shave?!!
