Blood spots on new tattoo that wont come off?

I just got my tattoo a few hours ago and on the spot were the color is a light green you can see little spots of dried blood, it wont come off should i be worried?Blood spots on new tattoo that wont come off?
dont freak this is very common, and will dissapear as the tattoo heals, remember to follow the instructions for care of your tattoo (Im assuming you were given some but if not see below)

The Tattoo machine, in a simplified explanation, operates like a mini-sewing machine: the Tattoo needle that is attached to the Tattoo needle bar moves up and down very rapidly as it penetrates the superficial (epidermis) and the middle layer (dermis) of the skin. This process creates a superficial abrasion to the skin that is only about as deep as the thickness of your fingernail. Properly and professionally done, Tattoos cause minimal trauma to the skin and heal very quickly.

For the first three days....absolutely...

#No skin to skin contact with people or pets.

#No scratching.

#No picking.

#No peeling.

#No swimming.

#No sauna.

#No Jacuzzi.

#No tub.

#No sun.

#No tanning salon.

#No contact sports.

#No shaving.

Listen to your own artists aftercare instructions. They know more about your specific needs.

No matter how tempted you are to show off your new tattoo, leave the bandage on for at least 3 hours.

From the 2nd day - wash your tattoo with mild soap twice daily using only your hand. (no washcloths!)

After washing your tattoo, carefully pat it dry with an fresh towel or paper towel.

For the first 3 days, apply anti-bacterial ointment very lightly after washing. Allowing Tattoos to dry prolongs the healing time, producing a dry scab and loss of ink. (Bepanthen can be bought from your local chemist and is what my step daughter recommends however if you suffer from skin allergies check the ingrediants as it contains lanolin) and It is true that Petroleum jelly or any petroleum based products tend to drain the color from a Tattoo.

At night, just before bed, wipe the area down lightly with alcohol to help control microorganisms on the surface of the skin during your hours of sleep. Then wipe over a layer of ointment. Continue this until the tattoo has healed.

After the third day, you can start applying lotion (such as Lubriderm) to your tattoo several times a day (a minimum of 4 times per day) to keep the scab from becoming stiffened (this is a major cause of tattoos becoming patchy)

If your tattoo itches, don't scratch it! Instead, slap it lightly to make the itch go away.

Your tattoo may start to peel. DONT PICK AT IT!!! Let it peel by itself and keep apply lotion to keep it moist.

Once it is healed, apply sunblock before spending an extended time outside.

You may want to have it touched up every few years to keep it looking new and vibrant.

Tips:

Try to keep that tatoo dry during showers and only wet it when washing by hand until healed

Do not, at any time, scrub your tattoo before it is fully healed.

Your tattoo's worst enemy is the sun. Protect it with sunblock to keep the color from fading.

A tattoo is considered completely healed when it is about 3 months old.

If you experience any problems with the aftercare instructions or products recommended here, discontinue use immediately!Blood spots on new tattoo that wont come off?
Its normal, I wouldnt worry about it, if you bled constantly like everyone else does, then all that happened was the blood kept coming out even when the tattoo was done, and it dried up from the air in the atmosphere, just wash the tattoo with your finger and some unscented soap and warm water. Do not use alot of pressure when doing it. Really you should wash the tattoo an hour after getting it, for this reason. But some of the blood wont come off either way, it'll come off when it begins to heal and scab over.

I know its a pain to wait, but its okay, just dont pick it off, you could ruin the tattoo. Keep it moisturized, I bet it'll come off the next time you take a shower. Thats when mine always came off, just remember dont let water stay on the tattoo and pat dry with a towel, and immediatly put bacitracin, A%26amp;D or whatever they told you to on it. I go with bacitracin, its the best for tattoos in my opinion, better than the tattoo goo too.
No, a tattoo is an injury to your skin. A cool injury, but still, just use the goop they told you to use on it and keep it covered as long as they told you to and it'll be fine. The blood is from the needles. Don't poke at it and expect some peeling after a few days but don't pick at it!

Mine got infected which you probably won't have to worry about (I think I was allergic to the red ink) but it turned out fine and I still love it 15 yrs later.
No its nothing to worry about its a fresh tattoo so of course its going to bleed wait a while b4 trying to wash it off bcuz u dnt want to mess ur tattoo up...
Very normal, a tat is an open wound. just keep it clean and take care of it as your artist recommended.

Hw do i iget rid of the dark spots after having pimples?

after having a pimple or two on my cheek, it leaves a darker spot than the colour of my skin. right now, it looks ugly because i have fair skin with a few spots here n there. some of the spots have been there for about half a year...help me! thanks lots!Hw do i iget rid of the dark spots after having pimples?
read tips on treating acne, skincare and reducing scars to help you more on this siteHw do i iget rid of the dark spots after having pimples?
Let me tell you something. I am 25 yrs old and I had pimples since I was 19 yrs old. I always had trouble getting rid of them and the dark spots after them. I have tried everything to get rid of them and the dark spots. I even tried Proactive. If you find something that works let me know. Good Luck!!!!
Look for fade cream type products that have hydroquinone. You have to faithfully apply it everyday and it can cause drying so make sure it's only on the spots. Other than that, time alone usually fades them.
There are bleaching creams like concha nacar or something like that or you can also try a teaspoon of honey mixed with a teaspoon of nutmeg. Rinse it off after 20 min. with cool water. Do this twice a week and you should see a difference within a couple of weeks. To help avoid getting pimples to begin with try changing your pillow case at least 2 x's a week since you figure you spend 6 to 8 hours rubbing your face on the pillow case and dead skin and other residue containing bacteria build up on the material and are happy to cause your skin problems. Vitamin e is also good and aloe vera. Lemon juice is also good. I have been told that onion juice mixed with vineger rubbed on the spots works to but the smell I dont think I could handle. My mother says buttermilk compresses for 20 min. twice a day does the trick because of the lactic acid found in milk products . Hope one of these things helps.
Use a scrub or microderm to get rid of those. Try Philosopgy Vitamin C microderm process. It does a lot for your skin, including preventing your skin from acne.
tell me
mary kay has some wonderful prodcuts to even your skin tone. for one is the even complexion essence. i recommend using it with their timewise 3 in one cleanser. you can also use the microdermabrasion set. i have an uneven skin tone and it has helped me alot, its getting better everyday!
I use cocoa butter, Not the cream or lotion, but the one that looks like a big chapstick. It's pure cocoa butter and it helps to fade away spots. I use it under my eyes as well to fade away my dark under eye circles.

Is there anyway you can get rid of small red spots in between the mouth and lip quickly? Please help!?

What do you mean...between the mouth and lip...is it acne..or do you have a rashIs there anyway you can get rid of small red spots in between the mouth and lip quickly? Please help!?
Do you mean cold sores?

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/鈥?/a>

http://www.aad.org/public/publications/p鈥?/a>

Cold sores are caused by herpes simplex virus type 1. Type 1 is not a STD. 90% of people have been exposed to the virus and carry antibodies for it though only about 10% actually get cold sores. Flare ups can occur when you exposed to a virus with fever, too much sun, or stressed out. If this is what it is try Abreva. Is there anyway you can get rid of small red spots in between the mouth and lip quickly? Please help!?
1. Drink at least 2 litres of water a day (but don't go crazy because you can make yourself ill).

2. Dab either toothpaste, tea tree oil or whatever on yout spots before bed to dry them up - whatever works best for yout skin type.

3. Try to wear hardly any foundation, concealer or any other make-up on your skin because it will only clog them. If you absolutly have to , wear a treated product like almay and an oil free base.

4. Get fresh air! Get outside and let your skin breath.

5. Do a face mask every week. Choose one that best suits your skin type.

6. Try to keep your hair off your face and don't be tempted to tounch your skin or pick your spots. It only spreads them.

%26amp;. Eat healthily and get plenty of sleep.

9. Go to your GP and check you don;t have an intolerence to a type of food. I absolutly love cereal and couldnt stop eating and my skin was awful. Turned out I had an intolerence to wheat! Make sure you check!

10. If you have a school holiday coming up, vow to yourself to do everything you can to clear up your skin. Trust me it works if you stick to it!

How can I get rid of these little brown faded spots on my face?

I was old that I got these due to stress, about a year ago my face was pure clear and now just covered with brown spots. How can I get rid of them?

ThanksHow can I get rid of these little brown faded spots on my face?
Color of skin or light brown spotted skin which is due to heredity, could not change.

You can use Almond oil massage for 15 minutes daily in day time. Second one, make a thin paste of Sandalwood powder and water,

apply at bed time daily and wash with lukewarm water in the morning.

Use both the application I think you will get good result.

all the best. How can I get rid of these little brown faded spots on my face?
You Idiot. He has no idea what he is talking about and that **** wont work-good luck cause those spots will still be there Report Abuse

If you never wore sunscreen or been out in the sun they could be freckles which is your skins' way of tanning. First favor you can do for yourself is wear sunscreen EVERY DAY even if you wont be outside very long or if it is cloudy. Also, before trying a laser therapy you could try a few sessions of microdermabrasion which is a little cheaper. There are creams that are formulated to break up the pigments that make up your spots to where they are also faded or less noticeable such as one by clinique called Even Better skin tone corrector. Good luck

p.s. the first two answer are wrong. Just because her aunt is a dermatologist doesnt mean she knows anything about skin and laser therapy is a last resort option and very costly and also brown spots / freckles are not hereditary but the type of skin you have IS and rubbing oils will not do crap.
Hmmm .. Stress can do this but are you sure they're not from the sun?

because you can remove them thru Laser treatment. My aunty is a dermatologist and she does these things all the time %26amp; 69 % of the time it's because of the sun. you can also try by maybe using creams and relaxing a bit . find a bit of you time if it's due to stress.

hope this helped!
They migtht be freckles?? If not if you had spots on your face and didnt get rid of them properly they leave a small brown scar that is permament sorry.

Hope i helped.

Is getting red spots after one week from waxing is normal?

I have waxed my back for the first time and just after the waxing everything was ok, but after one week I got those gross red spots. Is this ok? What should I do to get rid of them? When will they be gone? Help please... ;-(Is getting red spots after one week from waxing is normal?
I would not worry about it. You will see as you get waxed more often that your skin gets tougher. Sometimes the wax a place uses can be more irritating to your skin however. One time the place I usually go to was closed and I went somewhere else and my eyes were soooooooooo red, and they are never red at all when I go to my usual place.

Oh and when you get your waxed it can also pull up impurities in your skin which could also be the reason you are seeing red spots. You may want to try some acne treatment. Is getting red spots after one week from waxing is normal?
if they are little red spots that are new hairs that are forming under the skin and becuase its for first time that are just having a bit of trouble coming through just leave them and they will go away

How do i get rid of scars left by spots /acne?

help i have a few reminders of spots i used to have left on my face...does anyone know of any remedies to get rid of the scarringHow do i get rid of scars left by spots /acne?
    Remedies For Reducing Acne Scars

    * Apply lemon juice on acne scars. The citric properties of lemon juice belongs to the Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) group. Capable of getting rid of dead skin cells, lemon juice can aid in the growth of new cells. However, lemon can dry skin fast and should be used with caution on sensitive skin. The acid can sting and give a burning sensation too. You will also need a richer moisturizer to combat the dryness.

    * Apply aloe vera (gel or juice) to heal (and prevent) acne scars. Be careful when you choose your brand because most claim pure organic material. One good brand is Fruit of the Earth. If there's hyperpigmentation, aloe vera can take time to fade them.

    * Rosehip seed oil is another option that can work for you. It can regenerate new skin and fade the skin discoloration caused by acne scarring. Take time to massage onto scars twice daily.

    * Lavender oil is also used to promote new cell regeneration to improve acne scars. Gently massage onto affected area.

    * Topical skin lightening creams give the fastest results, and can inhibit and get rid of the melanin content that causes the hyperpigmentation. How do i get rid of scars left by spots /acne?
I don't know of any remedies that work.

But to hide them use a concentrated foundation in beige tone. Concealing cream hides bruises and evens out skin tone. Foundation can be patted over a healed scar to conceal it.

Avoid white or very pale concealing creams because they accentuate bruises and dark spots. Instead choose a colour that flatters your skin.

    Bonnie xo
The scarring will fade in time and you are probably more aware of it than anyone else but if you feel that you need to conceal it, there are makeup brands that are made to do just that..for instance Dermablend (www.dermablend.co.uk ); by reflecting light away from the skin rather than by being particularly thick or heavily coloured. It might be worth trying if you want to feel that you are looking your very best for any particular occasion.
I used Ambi lightening cream and a cocoa butter stick. The cocoa butter sticks don't have to be name brand. I bought mine at Walmart for like 60 cents. I applied the Ambi cream according to the directions but used the cocoa butter stick several times a day. Good Luck.
first stay out of the sun or put suncreen on. the sun will make the spots last a lot longer. they mostly fade by themselves but you get get microderm abrassion to get rid of the spots.

Anybody know any good tips for getting rid of spots?

i have some spots on face, not loads, though im sick of the sight of them whenever they appear. any tips on how to get rid of them?Anybody know any good tips for getting rid of spots?
hi huni, cleanse your face with an antibacterial cleanser [tee tree is fab] once in the morning and again at night ,.at night time apply sudo cream on the spots, drink plenty of water every day[you will see results if you stick to drinking plenty of water as it flushes out the toxins in your body.]also try to cut out foods with yeast in ,as to much yeast in your body can cause spots etc and go to a health shop and ask about the herbal tablets';acidphilous';.these tablets wil help you have a healthy gut plus fight the yeast in your body !! hope this helps ,tke care, love from me!!

ps...asda do a brill face cleanser called pure skin, its got tea tree and witch hazel in [which is spot fighting ingredients ]and it costs 1.99 its called';clear skin!!Anybody know any good tips for getting rid of spots?
1.Wash your face twice a day with cleanser and toner. DONT use a facecloth, it spreads the bacteria! And when drying your face, pat dry with a clean towel, dont drag it over your skin cos again, it'll spread.

2.Keep your hair off your face, especially fringes and layers (spreading bacteria!).

    3. Don't touch your face with your hands if you can help it, and dont let others touch it (again with the spreading!).

    4. At night, tie back your hair and make sure you change your pillow case regularly.

    5. If you wear make up, make sure to get rid of it all at night. In fact, try not to wear make up at all, give your face a chance to breathe. If you really cant go without it, then try at least one day a week, maybe if you're staying home.

    6. For really red spots, use sudocreme at night to take away redness. Also, toothpaste- this does sting some people, though.

    7. Drink LOTS of water every day! I mean, lots!

    8. Watch your diet. Lots of sugar (even in fruit) is terrible for your skin, as is greasy fatty foods. Eat lots of vegetables, and again with the water! ;)

    9. Get at least 8 hours sleep every night to give you body a chance to rest and catch up.

If this doesn't help after a few weeks, see your doctor and they'll prescribe something for you. Sometimes girls go on the contraceptive pill to help their skin, but this is fairly extreme, and you may not need to go that far. Good luck! :)
    Hey,

I suffer with spots aswell, over the last few years i've tried x amount of products, like clearisil, T-Zone etc.

Non of them working.. a total waste of money.

So now i've decided to use natural products, reading reviews on the net they sound much more effective

Heres a video for a DIY acne/scar reducing mask + toner you can make.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e--d_n073鈥?/a>

Be sure to check it out ;)

    Its great.

Some really good natural ingredients that is kind to the skin are:

Honey ( sticky.. i know) but reading reviews and researching on this product i have found out that the natural nutrients in honey rejuvinate and reduce redness, aswell as makein the skin much more softer straight away!

Tea Tree Oil is really good too, it has the same benefits as the honey, your can get tea tree oil from holland and barrat aswell as your local grocery store i think.

Green Tea helps get rid of all your bad toxins, and leaves you feeling refreshed inturn helping make your skin better.

Apple Cider Vingar, or just cider vinegar is good too...

All is explained inmore detail in the video!

Be patient, and wait a few weeks to see the result.

    Hope ive helped,

Ok i've had acne for 6 years. I've used everything you could think of, harsh scrubs and gels even stuff from the doctor but the best thing i hve found is the natural stuff!

I know your thinking, natural gentle clensing wont do anything for spots but trust me i only ever get a couple of spots a month now.

    I use:

Liz Earle clense and polish clenser

Its made of natural ingrdients and is nice to your skin. This helps your skin repair itself instead of attacking it with harsh chemicals.

Check out a range of natural clensers and give it a go.

    :)
im spot prone, when i get rid of one spot, another one comes! nothing works better than savlon antiseptic liquid. dont dilute it like it says, use it concentrated. i had a GIANT spot today, the size of a pea, it was very red but i put savlon on and within 10 hours it completely disappeared.

try it, u'll love the stuff :)

    good luck :)
alcohol. alcohol will draw out the moisture, that's why people say toothpaste because it contains it, and all the spot stuff you buy, contains alcohol.
keep your face clean, wash hands before putting moisturiser or cream on it and go to doctor for medicine
use tea tree oil twice a day it helps me.

i have coupl of spots on my chin what can i do to get rid of them very quickly. What is a good way to get rid of spots easily?
Exfoliate (this will remove dead skin cells, oil, grease, bacteria that all together clog in your pore and make the spot).

    Cleanse, tone, moisturise daily.

Squeeze (gently, with tissue around your fingers to prevent skin damage/scarring ) the pus from the spot, this needs to be done,if not the pus goes right back into the skin and you'll get it again. You need to do this to unblock the pore.

Also, because they are on your chin might mean that you are touching your face with your hands and making/causing them worst.Look out for this. What is a good way to get rid of spots easily?
I would recommend Pharmaderm cream and soap. It clarifies your skin getting rid of black spots, spots, eczema and fungus. Just place the cream on the individual area/spot and voila! After one/two days your skin will clear up.

How can i apply foundation to cover spots?

Im quite a spotty person, and i take pills for it and use creams, but they dont really work, and i can never hide them properly with foundation, and its really getting me down. Like half way through the day, my spots start tyo look all horrible and caked in foundation, it looks disgusting and i just dont know how to stop it from looking like that.

How do i apply, foundation or concealer that will stay on all day, and i dont have to re-apply because the redness has come through again?

Thank you xHow can i apply foundation to cover spots?
foundation isn't meant to cover up blemishes %26amp; spots, it's meant to be used as a base %26amp; to even out skin tone. a lot of people forget this and cake it on! concealer is what you need to use to cover your spots.

    * firstly, use an oil free foundation (so it doesn't make your spots worse - tesco do an amazing one which has been mentioned in cosmo %26amp; vogue!) apply where needed to even out skin tone

    * use a liquid concealer on any red areas, and a light reflecting concealer under your eyes

    * use a really creamy concealer on your spots and blend around the edges - add a little powder on top to keep the concealer in place.

    * you can use a green concealer underneath the creamy concealer first, to conceal the redness. this is a trick many makeup artists use. don't worry the green doesn't show! or, use a green primer before foundation on any red areas.

hope this helps! xoxoHow can i apply foundation to cover spots?
Use concealer instead of foundation, NOT UNDER THE EYE BRIGHTENING CONCEALER!!!!!! One that matches your skin tone and apply over it THEN apply the foundation over the top, if some concealer comes off whilst you do this REDO the concealer over the top of the foundation.

Try good brands like Clinique of Chanel, it seems that your skin is very sensitive and covering it up with lots of make up is not a good idea as it will only irritate the skin maybe you need to try Bare minerals make up it is made from minerals and is so pure you can sleep in it and it won't hurt you! IT IS NOT CHEAP BUT IT IS WORTH IT!!!
Don't! Please just don't! I have seen so many people trying to cover spots and acne with foundation and/or concealer and I could write a book with all the reasons why you shouldn't.

    1) No matter how much you put on you will still be able to tell you have spots!

    2) As you've discovered it starts to run and rub off - not a good look!

    3) If people can tell you have spots with foundation on why bother?

4)It will make them worse so you will have to keep wearing it - a cycle

I'm not gonna go on I just hope you've understood. Would you rather go out no foundation and your spots get better or you wear foundation people can still see your spots?

    Lecture finito!

    Ciao xx
i think all these foundations that claim to stay put for 8 hours min are crap. so somewhere in the day you will need to reapply round the nose and under the eyes maybe.

I use almay foundation, its also a treatment for problem skin. noots used to sell it but i can only manage to get it off ebay now.

It gives a full coverage, ya only need a little bit and it stops most oily patches. apply by patting and smoothing gently, then apply additonal concealer where necessary and then brush over loose powder with a big blusher brush, you will look flawless! only apply foundation and poweder where needed too.

    goood luck.
i think what you should do is try not to cover them up with foundation. my sister has just had a baby and she has spots everywhere she is only taking tablets for it. But i think if you really want them to go away is wash your face with only water and leave your face fresh and free of air hugging foundation, who cares what you look like, be proud of yourself and just think there are worse things in life you could be worrying about, just relax and if people dont like you the way you are SOD THEM!!!
use pressed powder between layers- i find it works for me- also don't go for cheap brands- try using maybe a liquid foundation and then apply a matte mousse or concealer on top

Try using a foundation brush- it works it into the skin better.
I use Revlon Colourstay foundation, topped with a bit of luminecent powder. I don't even need to use concealer %26amp; it lasts all day :)
try getting a shade thats inbetween your spot color and your skin
Ohhhh girl I know exactly how you feel!

It's horrible to have to go through the day wondering if your spots are covered, or if they're getting flaky or cakey... I HATE that!! I've gone through the day thinking my skin looked fine, then when I got to a mirror I though ';HOLY CRAP! Cake face!'; and it didn't look like that when I first put it on!

But anyways, to the point! First of all, buy some exfoliating cleanser pads (I used Dove) and they work great for removing dead skin cells and dry flaky patches (if you have them).

Second, apply a non oily lotion to your skin. I use Kiss My Face Filthy Rich Hydrating Lotion because it's natural, smells good, and absorbs really well!

Buy a cover stick that is creamy! I use Physicians Formula Organic Wear Cover Stick, which you can find at most drug stores. I've found the less makeup you wear, the better your skin will start to look!

Do NOT NOT NOT apply powder to your face!! That's what will make the caki-ness start!

If you tend to get oily thoughout the day (like me) then buy some oil blotting sheets. Neutragena, Clean n Clear and knockoff brands make them. They are great because they suck up excess oil WITHOUT disturbing makeup!

You may have to periodically touch up your face, but I've found this to be pretty effective!

Avoid makeups with mineral oil, methylparabens and a lot of harsh ingredients like that... they tend to irritate and ruin your skin!

I hope this helps!! I know how crappy weird looking skin can make you feel. GOOD LUCK!!

    Hiya,

Try applying a concealer stick to each spot first. You can get a green concealer stick to do this.It won't be green on your face so don't worry. After you have covered the spots with concealer apply your foundation in the way you would normally.

When you take your make-up off at night, wash your face as you would normally (avoid soap if possible as this makes spots worse) then soak cotton wool in witch hazel and wash all over your face with it.This will help your spots a lot as it dries them out and stops new ones coming.

Avon sell a good one.It treats spots at the same time.

    Good luck.

    I found this for you....

    http://acne.about.com/od/livingwithacne/鈥?/a>

    follow these steps

    # Clean your face and apply any products that are appropriate for your skin. These should include a lightening product on your spots. Wait 10 minutes for product(s) to soak in thoroughly.

    # Apply liquid foundation now, if you use it.

    # Apply a non-greasy, full-spectrum sunscreen directly on spots you want to cover. Since these spots are really caused by the sun, sunscreen will help you get rid of them. It will also glue your concealer in place. If you put sunscreen all over earlier, apply a little extra now to these areas.

    # Dip small sponge applicator in an appropriate shade of pure mineral concealer and spread over dark areas. Layer until darkness is minimized. Blend with sponge or fingers.

    # Brush on mineral foundation, if you use it, or a finishing powder.

    # Be careful choosing a concealer shade. Nothing is more important than finding a good match.

    # Don鈥檛 put liquid or cream foundation over concealer. You鈥檒l just rub the concealer off or spread it around.

    # You may need to reapply concealer to your age spots during the day, but not as often.

What's the best product for teenage spots (UK products) is there anything in the chemist that works or?

is it best to go to doctors. There is so much on the shelves but I don't want to waste money. Can anybody recommend anything please? What's the best product for teenage spots (UK products) is there anything in the chemist that works or?
Clearasil is a good Uk product.

However as you might know,it's natural having spots when your a teenager as your still developing.

You should not only wash your face twice a day and use scrub twice a week but you should as well:

    -Drink lots of water

-Eat healthy food (Especially fruits and vegetables each day and you should avoid any junk foods)

    -Do daily exercise

-Try not touching you face as you might pass dirt from the sourroundings through your own hands.

I hope I helped you a little bit and goodluck.

x)What's the best product for teenage spots (UK products) is there anything in the chemist that works or?
    Yes UK!

I have light to moderate acne, and I have taken many measures to try to sort it out. It's improving, but I don't know which thing is working! So here's a basic run down.

I went to the doctors and he prescribed me some antibiotics (that didnt do very much) and a sort of gel that I put on spots once they've formed a head, to try and dry them out.

I had a skin assessment at Clinique and use their 3-Point plan every night and morning.

I bought a Zeno Acne system for about 拢100, and I use that when I feel a spot coming on, and most of the time the spots don't even come through.

I'm so pleased with my skin at the moment, my skin is almost entirely clear, and the scars from previous spots are almost gone. :)
If there really bad go to the doctors but I have tried most things and i'm on this new ';Simple'; regime. You use a cleanser then a toner then a moisturiser, it took about a week for my skin to clear up.

i have used T-zone spot zapper quite a lot and it usually gives me good results. But i have recently changed to Clean %26amp; clear rapid response cream or whatever, that is meant to give results in liek 4 hours... but it doesn't.

So, i would advise you use T-zone spot zapping stick. and also a moisturiser and a tonor and a face wash / exfoliator that also helps with spots.
Just use ordinary vinegar. Wash your hands first, put a teaspoonful of vinegar into a saucer, dip cotton wool into it squeezing surplus out and dab it on your spots. This dries them and they should heal in 7 days. Just do not pick them.
Witch sticks are good i found, and you can't beat a bit of sudocrem, that dries them up pretty fast. Other than that I just use a regular neutrogena cleanser and some moisturiser for oily skin so it isn't too thick.

    Hope this helps!
clearasil always worked for me.tough i never ad many spots.exfoliating also helps as this cleans you face and gets rid of dead skin
i swear by sudocrem fair dues your blankets are all white in the morning but it saved me from a lot of surprise picture days

A surgeon can do it with a laser or they make several lotions that will either cover or reduce the offending spot my suggestion is to find yourself a good dermatologist and let them help you they can work wonders
Oh Sweetie, I know what you are talking about. It is called Acne scarring or hyperpigmentation. The best solution for that is to use Proactiv Solution to prevent more break-outs and then it will lighten the dark spots as well. There is also a lightening cream that has 2% Hydroquinone in it that will help lighten dark spots. You will see results very quickly. Also, I heard that drinking or eating caffeine will actually darken the scars so stay away from tea, coffee and chocolate. And wear Sunscreen everyday even if it is cloudy.
    USE Bannannas
Try rubbing the spot with a mixture of lime and honey. The spots will lighten over time.
    surgery
    use litheng cream of iklen
i use cocoa butter, you can get it at wal-mart.
this is what you need: whiteout, tempra paints and a simple brush you can find at any Kraft store. Please remember to get the primary colors so that you can blend the paints to match your skin. If you are truly a whitey, then you can used more whiteout. be sure to blend using purple or red to match groups of pimples. Make sure that your pimples are

popped before proceeding any further. remember you are worth it. and if you have to put a little work into in yourself using cheap and simple items you can save a bundle of money.
From a beautician/hairdresser from the UK.a Little by bicarbonate of soda%26amp;lemon and wipe the area twice a week it will clear the darkness,as for scaring you can seek help from your Dr,he Or she can put you in touch with a dermatologist who will prescribe a cream with will reduce the scar. but It won't be a full cure.
please don't go for laser treatments. did it a few months ago. cost a fortune. didn't even finish the treatment, but believe me i must have done about 12 sessions. go see a dermatologist ask her to recommend a skin lightening cream. depending on your skin tone. laser is a waste of money. I've wasted over 拢1000.oo REGRET
    use vitamin e oil
I don't know if you've tried this or not..but for scars I think real aloe is a wonder...break off a branch from a living plant and use the clear ooz on the scars and splotches...it has helped family memebers, it might for you as well..much luck.

  • Does the Tea tree and witch hazel stuff really work in getting rid of spots?

Well for me i find that it makes my spots less red i.e less noticable. But it would vary from person to person. =DDoes the Tea tree and witch hazel stuff really work in getting rid of spots?
it depends.first make sure the spots arent something to worry about.like disease, medical and/or skin condition.if its not, then yes if you get the right tea tree oil and place it directly on the spots it will gradually go away.whiteners will only bleach your skin and put toxins in your body which will lead to bad medicals conditions anyway.Theres a strong tea tree oil that only few people know you get for like 10 bucks and its concentrate.its in its pureest form as where as others dilute theirs.usually ppl cant get to this stuff unless the know someone thats in the store..kinda like costo i believe.anyway, i can help.Does the Tea tree and witch hazel stuff really work in getting rid of spots?
no! Depending on the spot, if it is brown Hydroquinone will help to lighten it or even get rid of it all together depending if the spot is through all the layers of the skin or not. You can buy products with 2% Hydroquinone in it over the counter. Should you need stronger, you must get a prescription from your Doctor.

i know that you said you have no money to spend but i really really recommend decleor paris. I also had lots of spots but they all faded within about 1 and half weeks. I use decleor cleanser, oil, moisturiser, nightbalm and once a week i use an exfoliator to scrub away dead skin so that the product is directly absorbed.
i get this witch hazel and tee tree stuff from the chemists down my road- i've seen it in boots as well- it gets rid of spots in 2 or 3 days. 4 days is the longest it's taken to get rid of a spot.

put some on in the morning and loads on at night. it really works!

Here's a testimonial from Feroz who suffered from breakouts, acne for 12 years.

    From: frz187';

Subject: Re: hey mukunda this is feroz.

    Message: mukunda thank you so much, im officially acne free after 2 1/2 weeks. if it wasnt for your advice i dont know what i would have done...one thing i noticed that helped me with mine was vigorously rubbing in olive oil.washing off then applying lavender to afflicted areas....';

Massage using essential oils works wonders. Lavender, almond, grape seed and olive (buy in Walmart or Walgreens, GNC, Trader Joes) have been used by specialists to treat and cure acne. Do not clog, cause breakouts and they can actually reduce skin's oil production.

Treatment: Do a forward and back vigorous massage - not circular - using tips and front of fingers and sometimes palms - depending where on face you apply. Gradually build up to vigorous as skin and hands have to adjust. For quickest results do for 15 to 20 min daily (Doesn't have to be all in one session).

Skin will start to clear, over size pores reduce in as little as 2 to 3 days. Day by day skin will become clearer

    .

To prevent skin pulling/stretching first tighten skin(most of face) by opening mouth 3/4';and ,pulling lips tightly back against teeth.

I myself suffer from acne, mild but still bumpy and ugly and gross. I’ve used every product from proactive, Neutrogena, Clearasil, acne free, etc. Even prescription stuff like differin, clindamycin, erythromycin, tetracycline, menocyclin, etc. Nothing works!!!!! But recently I’ve created a new plan altogether that really works even for that stubborn acne that you can’t get rid of. First of all, although most clean and clear products don’t work well, the continuous control acne cleanser works great!! It’s only $5 at target and its 10% benzoyl peroxide which means its strong stuff. But it really helps to extract all that gross puss and bacteria out of the zit and bring it to the surface that way you can exfoliate it off of your skin. Okay, the second thing is that I drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. This flushes out all the toxins from your liver that may contribute to your skin problems. I also cut my sugar intake level in half. This is important to do cuz sugar is what gives you those big nasty zits on your forehead and cheeks. The last thing is to avoid touching your face altogether-use an oil absorbing sheet if you have to. Don’t pop them though, and if you must then get one of those extracting tools for pimples from a beauty store. Use a sunscreen when going out and don’t overdo makeup. That’s all the advice I have for you. Drastic results can be seen anywhere from 3-7 days. Good luck 
    i sorted all my skin out and i barely get spots anymore but i drink loads of water and kept to a healthy diet and i always take my make-up off before bed and not wearing a lot of it can help and reduce spots also if you really need to use it use a mineral make-up or oil free liquid foundation and i use lots of face washes;

cleansing milk and wash this off too then i put a drop of toner on my face then i use moisturizer this is before bed and in the morning

then i use a pure and radiant mask twice a week and i exfoliate

i know this sounds like a lot but it really works.

i hope you've found this helpful!

those ARE dark circles...and sometime crows feet when the circle is not really visible. you CANT just get rid of by getting enough rest or sleep. they say that it's caused by stress...which may be true. But I've been staying at home for a year now because i felt like it, i have no stess, i get enough of sleep and i dont go under brazing sun STILL I have those circles more without even wearing glasses. (never had them when i was studying) what I'm saying (and i do these) I use eye cream, cucumber or potatoe slices, tea bags and cold spoons to relax that area and get more blood to flow. and because it doesnt look good i use concealer to cover it up.

if you have sinuses that cud be another reason but mostly your specs cause it. just cus u get enough sleep u CANT avoid those. also u have to get enough iron in ur food (like spinach) and some cream with with vitamin K in it. watch less TV and dont use the computer too much. try to change the shape of ur glasses or get contacts if u can. Elizabeth arden has a good eye cream for those circles i heard. have to try that myself. good luck to you!
    Try:

    1) a cold spoon over each eye for a bit

    2) the dark circle eraser roll thingy from garnier fructis

    3) a slice of potato over each eye (seriously!)

    4) or just avoid circles all together by getting lots of healthy sleep

make sure to use shaving cream and a sharp razor to get a close shave. sometimes i prefer to use hair conditioner instead...it gives a good close shave.

go slowly and carefully, don't be in a rush.

How do you hide age spots/sun spots?

Even with foundation I notice that the age spots are still visible.Using a thicker layer of foundation makes one look like a clown???Solution??How do you hide age spots/sun spots?
There's not a lot you can do to hide them, but there are some things you can do to fade them and keep them from getting worse. First, you need to wear a 30 spf suncreen ALL the time. This will help to keep them from darkening or from more appearing. Second, you can go to a Dermatologist for a prescription to help fade the spots.

    Good luck!

How about avoiding the tanning bed altogether. You look good now but you will wrinkle and spot and look very old and ugly later. Trust me. My good friend is a barbie doll. She is gorgeous and stylish. I haven't seen her for about 4 years and when I did see her I was shocked! Her chest looked like my 70 year old mothers!

  • How do you get rid of the black spots under your eyes?

    Any home remedies please?

I am going back to school (8th grade now! eeek!) and I want these stupid black bags under my eyes GONE!!! Thanks for your help! How do you get rid of the black spots under your eyes?
That's wierd. I am 13, going to 8th grade, and have bags under my eyes. ;(... So much in common ha! I also have many animals... or did. Anyways! here are some things I do to get them to go away!

    1. If you are in a hurry put a little concealer under your eyes and white eyeliner under your eyes to look really awake!

2.Dry to drink alot of water the worked for me. I noticed a slight difference!

3.Don't eat a lot of salt I heard that somewhere so I tried it and then again it faded away some.

    4. I've done this and it worked for me. They say it's called ';Racccoon Eye Eraser';? Anyways!

    1. Mash a potatoe that you let get cool in the refridgerater until smooth.

    2. Place the potato mush into 2 or 3 paper towels to form a compress.

    3. Place the compress over your eyes for 15-25 minutes.

    4. Wash your eye area and apply an eye cream.

5.WEAR SUNSCREAN UNDER YOUR EYES BEFORE YOU PUT ON MAKEUP!!! If you wear make up as I do.

6.DON'T rub your eyes anymore. When you rub them like agressivly you can break a small blood vessel (nothing seriose) and then it make your under eyes be dark because they are bruised. :(So stop the rubbing DRAMATIC CHANGE FOR ME!

    7. Take a break from make up for a while. Since it is summer I don't really wear any make-up!

8.Slices of cucumber or potato can be used to reduce circles around the eyes. Close your eyes and cover your eyelids with a thin slice for up to twenty minutes. This soothes tired eyes and increases the circulation to the skin around the eyes.

9.Make a paste of rose petals with milk and apply this paste around the eyes.

Ps. The usual cause of the dark circles are allergies, tiredness, or, unfortunately, heredity.

There you go! Hope I helped!

Pss. I don't do ALL of those things only like 4! ;)How do you get rid of the black spots under your eyes?
Heey, i'm 13, and goign into grade 8 too!

Ohkay, you gotta make sure your getting at least 8-9 hours of sleep each night. You can use Green Tea bags: what you do is boil some hot water, and pour a little bit of the water onto the Tea bags so they are compleatly wet, let them cool, and place on your eyes for 15 minutes. You can also cut a large strawberry in half, and place on your eyes for 15 minutes, or put cucumber slices on your eyes! Trust me, this works. and, when school starts, go out a buy a concealer (go to shoppers drug mart, or anywhere where a lady can help you choose a proper color) Good luck !
I'm going to eighth grade too... XDDD

Maybe, you are not getting enough sleep, try to sleep more! XD

Or maybe you are stressed these days, so try to relax and think positive!

How do I get rid of white spots?

How do I get rid of white spots on my teeth? I had braces for 2 years and 3 months but I got them off about 3 years ago. I have always brushed after each meal, flossed at night, and used the special mouthwash they wanted me to use. However, I still have white spots on my teeth. They have improved, but how do I make them go away? How do I get rid of white spots?
The ';white spots'; that you describe are probably areas of decalcification in the enamel caused by lack of brushing during your orthodontic treatment. The acids produced in the plaque initiates cavities in the enamel surface. This acid induces a white decalcified enamel spot or lesion to develop that becomes quite apparent when the orthodontic braces are removed. It is recommend that you speak with your dentist for treatment options which may include fluoride treatment, bonding and in severe cases porcelain laminate placement. How do I get rid of white spots?

sometimes those cheap over the counter skin whitening lotion are just as effective as the expensive ones. but you have to use them regularly, and if papaya soap is available your place, use this when you take a bath, followed by the whitening lotion. works best if used at least 2x a day..like after your shower, and before you sleep..
    use OLAY 7-total effects hahahhah
Vitamin E pills arent going to help. Use a spot treatment cream and get it from your local pharmacy or if they dont go then ask your doctor
go ask a dermatologist about V-BEAM laser..it really works..worked on me..dark spots on my face are now all gone..
Try whitening cream - i tried the one from Loreal is good they have night and day cream get the both

    vitamin e is an antioxidant and will not lighten dark skin spots;

    these are skin pigmentations that need a good skin lightener;

    a good cream doesn't have hydroquinone, mercury or steroids;

    if it's a wide affected skin are, choose the whitening lotion;

    expensive products don't always mean more effective;

What vitimins should i take to my mu skin have no spots n hair grow better?

does cod liver oil do all this or primrose oil tablets? if not wat do they do?

    thx for answering

happy new year! What vitimins should i take to my mu skin have no spots n hair grow better?
primrose oil does and there is stuff u can buy called mega b which brightens your eyes, makes your hair grow better and clears your skin. What vitimins should i take to my mu skin have no spots n hair grow better?
Vitamin E is a key ingredient in healthy hair and skin. Also silica complex by it's very nature is a very good supplement for healthy hair, nails, and skin. Cancer patients undergoing severe chemo therapy are given vitamin E for skin health and silica complex for hair and nails. Some people are known to burst the vitamin E gel tabs and use the liquid like a lotion for thier face. Although many lotions and cremes claim to have vitamin E in them. Nothing beats taking the supplement yourself and allowing your body to process it as it needs to.
Just a regular Vitamin C supplement can improve your facial complexion a bit.

What's a good product to use on sensitive skin to get rid of spots?

I currently use Simple skin care. What are some products that are like Simple that I can use to get rid of spots? What's a good product to use on sensitive skin to get rid of spots?
Hi, I am 16 and I too have sensitive skin that gets seriously aggravated by harsh products like Clearasil. Seriously my skin was dry as a bone after using Clearasil and it itched like something else.

Anyway at the moment I use ';Weleda'; Skin purifiying lotion combined with the ';Weleda'; Cleanser. It's specifically for young skin and is 100% chemical free and it also soothes your skin rather than drying it out. Also the cleanser can act like a moistureiser and keeps your skin hydrated. After using it for a couple of days my skin looked amazingly bright and clear. Combine this with drinking lots of water and you'll have skin to envy everyone!

Hope this helps! What's a good product to use on sensitive skin to get rid of spots?
Well, I've had spots ever since I started secondary school, and nothing EVER worked. None of the Clearasil or stuff.. even the sensitive ones.

But lately I've tried the do-it-yourself kinda stuff.. like toothpaste (it HURTS,warning!), but the best two have been getting your hands full of soap lather, and adding some salt then washing your face with it,and putting Sudocrem over the spots at night then washing it off in the morning. Be sure to cover your pillow with a towel!

I hope these work for you :)

What lotion is best for dry patchy spots?

I have several and Im trying out for cheer and if I make it the cheer outfit skirt part is kinda short so I dont want to be looking a mess. Which lotion is best? What lotion is best for dry patchy spots?
Aveeno is fabulous. Also, try using a good lotion and then putting vaseline ( at night so aren't a greasy mess) or aquafor over the lotion. This locks the lotion in and helps it work better. What lotion is best for dry patchy spots?
Aquaphor is the best I have found. Even on rough heels and elbows. I put it on my feet with socks and go to bed for about 3 nights and my feet are good. It feels greasy when you 1st put it on, but that lessens later. I had a nurse tell me about it.

You can get it at Walmart.
Ask someone who knows! Also is good at beauty!!!!!
If you have several I would go to the doctor..it could need some special medical attention.. I wouldn't use ';lotions'; the fragrance/chemicals could irritate it more. Go for Aveeno which is more natural .does it itch? If so you can put calamine but I would see a doctor for sure. I don't think lotion is going to work on it but do more damage.
Eucerin dry skin therapy calming cream is outstanding!

How can i get rid of red spots after shaving?

i get stupid shaving spots after shaving they're red looking and i really hate them, i put cream on after the shower and it goes for a bit but when the cream sinks in which is after an hour or so they come back. i dont want to keep applying cream so any more tips? p.s. please dont say wax instead i dont want to, its painful hahaHow can i get rid of red spots after shaving?
sounds like razor burn. If you're shaving delicate skin, like under your arms, make sure that you're using lots of gel, shaving cream, or soap when you shave.

Try using some aloe vera or tea tree to help soothe the area. aloe vera is even better and might last longer than the creams you're using on the areas now.How can i get rid of red spots after shaving?
Before and after you shave, wash the area to be shaved with some antibac soap, sometimes shaving will leave your pores open to infection.

Use a good quality razor (men's are better, I think) and some kind of shaving lotion, I like Aveeno, don't like Skintimate at all.

Make sure the shower is hot and steamy, it opens the pores. Try shaving with the grain, not against it. You may not get as close of a shave, but the follicle won't be lifted as much and is less likely to get irritated.

If you see bumps starting to form, keep the area clean, washing with antibac soap and applying a thin layer of something like Neosporin.

    Good luck! :)
I had the same problem I have found out that there is no absolute answer for your problem.

I use the gillette fusion power razor which doesn't leave as much red spots. I have also seen on tv if you mix regular foam shaving cream with shaving gel it gives you a better shave and if you didn't take a shower you can use a hot towel.

It works for me most of the time good luck
It sounds like they're ingrown hairs to me. The best thing you can do it exfoliate with a body brush before shaving, using long sweeping movements for the ankle to the knee and circular movements on the thigh. Shave your legs and after use an body scrub, moisturize afterwards! The first few times you do this you may find you get more spots as it's bringing all the bad oills out of your legs but they will be clear soon after! Good luck! x
you could be sensitive to some creams

    and having an alegic reaction

try usinng your hair conditioner as a

    shaving cream

it works great, and saves you money
A lot of people are helped by applying a liquid astringent afterwards -- it burns but it often seals the pores.
They are probably ingrown hairs. Go and buy a product called Tend Skin. Its is pricey but soooo worth it.
Try using a razor without any strip- the strip causes allergies to the skin on some people.
put baby oil on your skin before you shave, then shaving cream. It will reduce razor burn.
use something like nair so that you dont even have to shave?!!

Anyone Got Any Good Home Remedies For Spots?

I don't have acne but I get some spots on my forehead and chin. I find that stuff in the shops don't work. Does anyone have any tips or good home remedies that actually work?Anyone Got Any Good Home Remedies For Spots?
Iam a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care and teen acne.

In my experience of 12 years alot of commercial store bought products DO NOT WORK! They often contain too much benzoyl peroxide which tends to over dry your skin which causes irritations.

Most of my patients are teenagers and I deal with acne problems and in 12 years most of the products out there have not helped.

PLEASE READ THIS WITH YOUR MOM if you are under 18, I have a great solution for you!

Your question is very broad and you need to get professional advice. I will explain why it's a broad question!

Your age plays a role! How old are you? Do you always have breakouts?

However, acne can result from several factors such an increase in hormone levels. In males testosterone or androgens. In females, androgens respectively. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.

Genetics may also be a cause. It is a myth that greasy food or chocolate causes breakouts.

However, using make-up sponges that are not changed or washed often can contaminate the pores with bacteria which may develop into acneic breakouts.

If you are a teenager ( which I assume that you are) your hormones play a definite role in your breakouts.

If you have severe breakouts than you might need medication. There are many factors.

The most important thing is that you need products that are AGE APPROPRIATE! Every age group has different products appropriate for them. If you are young than you need milder products as to not dry out your beautiful young skin.

The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples' needs.

Your skin type is different than mine and your age differs from mine so how is it logical that we both use the same skin product for breakouts. We need different strengths of cleansers and toners. Do you kind of understand what I am getting at?

Here is my STRONG SUGGESTION for you. I refer all my students and patients to this website:

    www.aboutyourskincare.com

You need to consult with professionals and on this website YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS FOR FREE AND A SKIN EXPERT/PHYSICIAN WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. It would be a shame if you dont take advantage of this free service.

Lastly, they have incredible products for breakouts and they make them specifically for every kind of skin type. That means that if your breakouts are more severe than mine, than while we both will buy the same product yours will have stronger ingredients than mine will.

They have a mild glycolic acid cleanser that's great for your type of skin and also a DRYING LOTION ( I have 3 bottles) that you put directly on your breakouts and the next day it's gone. It's truely magic in a bottle.

A basic guideline for properly taking care of your skin is this ( now if you're a young girl you will need fewer products than this):

    Night time:

    1. Exfoliate the skin

    2. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    3. Mild Glycolic Acid Toner ( cleans off the excess debris and balances the PH level of the skin).

    4. Drying Lotion used only on breakouts

    5. Moisturizer

    Morning:

    1. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser

    2. Moisturizing cream

The above is a standard you may need to only use one or two products. Visit: www.aboutyourskincare.com

As I suggested and click on the ASK FOR FREE section send them an email and you will get free expert skin care advice.

    Good Luck to you,

I've got veryy few spots and my skin isnt sensitive or dry just my nose is v.greasy! Why is my nose soo greasy?! It's so greasy that when I wipe it off my eyes start to water, I dnt have spots.
Maybe it is just because oily skin runs in your family. It is surprsing that you don't have any acne there, cuz usually when skin is oily it gives you zits and blackheads. I recommend washing your face twice a day if you do not already. Also, use Neutrogena face scrub with invigorating microbeads. You can get it at a pharmacy like CVS. THis face scrub has everything you need: it exfoliates skin to get rid of dead skin cells, gets rid of oil, unclogs pores, and stops zits from happening. Use that once a day and a normal face soap like dial (dial is drying which will help) another day. Maybe once a week use a moisturizer so your skin doesn't get so dried out, but onlly once a week so your skin doesn't get even more greasy! hope i helped! Why is my nose soo greasy?! • How do I get rid of red spots CAUSED by Clearasil?

I used Clearasil Vanishing Cream before going to bed yesterday and when I woke up this morning there were large bright red spots on my face where I put the cream! How do I get them to go away? How do I get rid of red spots CAUSED by Clearasil?
To start off with, never use harsh products on acne, it will only irritate it more. My suggestion is to use more gentler products.

I鈥檝e used stuff from proactive, acnefree, medicated cleansers, expensive department store stuff like sheseido, differin, duac, etc. none of them worked very well for me. Most of them made my skin worse, or haven't helped me at all.

Once a week, you should use a facial masque that will suck out all of the oils and impurities from your skin. The one that I use is called ';Queen Helene Mint Julep'; and let me tell you, this stuff is amazing! I buy it at Sally's Beauty Supply for about 5 dollars for a huge tub of it. This stuff lasts me forever! I have had the same tub of it, since November of 06, and it is only about half way gone. Many people love the smell of it, because it smells like toothpaste!

Every morning and night, I wash my face with a clarifying cleanser that I purchase at www.ifeelpretty.com

This cleanser is VERY gentle, and works amazingly, I love it, because it smells like lemongrass, and leaves my skin soft and clean.

For on the spot treatment, (AKA, for a pimple that you need to get rid of FAST, use the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque on your pimple overnight, then wash off in the morning, and it will be reduced tremendously!

The last and most important thing, is to MOISTURIZE! This is a personal preference of coarse, but for me, I use 'Hope In A Jar' by Philosophy. This moisturizer keeps my skin very soft, and touchable. And it isn't that expensive either! 30 dollars for a tub :]. One moisturizer that I would not recommend is Creme De La Mer...this stuff is 300 bucks for 2 ounces, and it doesnt work worth crap. I got a sample of it from the mall, and it also broke me out. YUCK!

How do I get rid of my spots?

Hi! I'm a teenager and I have hundreds of spots and blackheads etc. All that nasty stuff. I have tried all the products, tea tree oil, Clearisil, Clean%26amp;Clear ....everything! And none have worked, my spots just keep on coming. Any tips for a spotty soul? How do I get rid of my spots?
    Witch

witchhazel is supposed to help and I would recommend WitchHow do I get rid of my spots?
Burt's Bees tomato complexion soap followed by a good moisurizer - I love the burt's bees marshmallow vanishing cream but I don't like their other moisturizers for daytime.
The best thing to do is leave the branded stuff like clearisil etc alone and just use basic soap and water.I was like you,i suffered from acne from a young age and tried everything to get rid of them but it was useless. So wash your face in COLD water with soap in the morning and lunchtime if you can, and then before bed. What you eat also has alot to do with it.Try and avoid greasy things like crisps.I cant eat crisps anymore because they give me spots.Avoid chocolate and chips, and most importantly drink loads and loads of water.Hope they clear up.x
If you still have acne, you want to find a good facial cleanser. Don’t use normal soap that’s the worst thing you can do for your face a dermatologist will tell you that!! When you say “spots” are you saying your acne is leaving scars behind once they go away? If that’s the case and you have a lot of them you should go see a dermatologist. When I was younger I had this problem and went on an antibiotic to get rid of the scaring. I sill have this happen every once-n-a-while. And I use a product called Tend skin that’s actually for ingrown hairs but it works for getting rid of my scaring, takes a little time but it works, also help to dry out acne. Also I just bought Neutrogena spot treatment and really works to spot treat white heads and seems to be helping with the discolored skin too. But the most important thing you want to do is find a good cleaner for your skin and you want to exfoliate as well at least two times a week!!! St. Ives seems to be pretty good and it’s just under $4.00 for a container. And if you want you could try a facial where they will extract the blackheads. I know some spas have started focusing on facials for teenagers don’t know if they will do extractions on your skin but the facial it's self might help you. And try not to touch your face alot. This will add to all kinds of issues. good luck.
    Good food.
I used to get spots when I was a teenager and still got them in my early 30's until I realised I was intolerant to cows milk. I stopped eating/drinking it (not too difficult really) and now my skin's fantastic!
Go and see your doctor they have special treatments for severe acne
Use an aspirin mask or toner to exfoliate %26amp; keep pores clear. Be sure to use UNCOATED aspirin for these recipes.

Crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask.

Mix half a teaspoon of crushed tablets with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and aloe vera gel.

Hold 6 aspirin in palm, and slowly drip water onto them until they fizzle and dissolve! Once dissolved, add 2-3 drops of honey into it and mix it around with finger. Apply to face. Keep it on 15-20 mins.

Mix 6 aspirin tablets with a little aloe to make a mask.

Use about 6 uncoated tablets, witch hazel, tea tree oil, and aloe to make a thin paste.

    Toner:

8 ounce bottle of distilled water add four uncoated aspirin

    or

mix of 1/2 water, 1/2 witch hazel, 15 aspirin, and 2 drops of tea tree essential oil and 2 drops of rosemary essential oil w/ 4 uncoated aspirin
for all those people who have said for you to try spot cream/gel,dnt listen to them.

my advice is to first go into a sauna for a good 10 minutes to open your pores, ooze the blackheads off and refresh your skin.

secondly, the best way to get rid of spots is to really drink the water down,at least 6 glasses a day.it reli works, and you should already see a difference within 2 days of doing so!

trust me,Oxy skin care has been made especially for spots, and they reli do work.buy the exfoliating wash, the wipes (handy for school when you need a quick refreshment) and the treatment moisturiser.

and using cotton wool, dab tea tree oil onto problem areas before you sleep to heal scarring while you sleep

good luck and i hope iv helped! xxx
    eat healthy food!!

and wash with a warm cloth to open and clean pours and splash cold water to close them!
Beauticontrol has a fabulous anti-acne skincare line called All-Clear. This product contains both benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid which are proven anti-acne ingredients. Most product lines only have one of these key ingredients making them less effective. You need to be very consistent with any skincare regimen. Eating properly is also important. Alot of skin care probs are simply related to hormones and since you said you are a teenager, I am assuming this is a big part of your problem. Check out the All-Clear line on my website www.beautipage.com/rebeccagoates. In addition to the skincare there are things such as the blemish duo which contains powerful blemish gel on one side and a concealer on the other.
    Proactiv! It works.
I have had the problem for ever!! But then I talk ed to my dr and we decied to try a prescripton its called binziclin and works REALLY well!! when nothing eles would work. its a lotion u put on once in the am and once in the pm!!! i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…
Eat lots of veg and fruit avoid greasy foods.Wash your face with simple soap and in time they will go!
A clay mask is the best for black head control. If you can't reach your whole back get a small head spatula to help you spread it. 3x a week should show results in less than 2 weeks. Good Luck.
I have heard that Freederm from the pharmacy is good. Also remember that acne is a part of growing up, some people get it and some don't. I did when I was a teenager, but it went eventually when my hormones settled down. I was told that people that get acne, generally have oilier skin, and as a result get fewer wrinkles in later life. I don't think I have many wrinkles for my age........lots of grey hairs though!

Try not to worry about it too much, just know that it will go eventually. And give that Freederm a try too. Good luck.
