Im starting to get spots and ive never had them before, is it because of the moisturiser im using?

Im 16 and my skin has always been pretty clear, but since last week when i started putting on moisturiser ive got a whopping great spot on my nose! And im starting to get more! what should i do? is there any home remedies that can get rid of it before sunday?Im starting to get spots and ive never had them before, is it because of the moisturiser im using?
Actually, the moisturizer is working pretty well on your skin that is why you are breaking out in spots. You can apply ice on the spot; you鈥檒l see a difference in 2-3 days.Im starting to get spots and ive never had them before, is it because of the moisturiser im using?
no not that i know of but try a different moisturiser or exfoliating cream

i have the same problem.
possibly new cream, try exfoliating gently to unblock the pores.
could be the new cream is too rich for your skin, use something lighter/less oily.
I would stop using it and see if the bumps clear up=]

Best of luck,

  • Why do I have spots of skin which do not tan?

Every year during the spring/summer, I get a little darker, however there are some spots which do not change at all. Some of these spots are on my face and its a little embarrassing. Why do I have spots of skin which do not tan?
My friend gets that too and you shouldn't be embarassed, its just where the pigment in the skin is different, like freckles, theyre just darker bits of skin which you get when your skin colour is determined from your parent's genes, if one is very dark and one very fair then the alleles (inside a gene) will be very different. Also, i think they probably won't tan because of melonin in your skin, this takes in the sun and goes brown, fair people burn easily because they have less Melonin in their skin. These patches you have will not contain much melonin because its diferent to the rest of you and therefore won't tan as well. fake tans on't tend to cover these up completely either but they can help!!!Why do I have spots of skin which do not tan?
Ok it's called Melasma, it's a skin darkening, can be caused by sun, old scars from pimples etc. You need a skin bleaching cream from a dermatologist, Tri-Luma, very expensive applied once at bedtime, will fix the problem. Based on your avatar I assume your black, even black people need a SPF lotion against the harmful rays of the sun. We are not immune to skin discolorations or cancer for that matter.
Its the way you were made. You have a lesser concentration of melanocytes (pigment cells) on certain points on your face. Blame it on mother nature. Use a moisturizer with a higher spf. You don't need a tan on your face. Buy a brimmed hat. You do not need to buy a skin lightener, thats for people who have hyperpigmentation. You're the opposite.
You need to exfoliate %26amp; wear a good tanning lotion with a high SPF.

How do i get rid of the after effect of dark spots cause by pimples?

i get a few blemishes, that once dried up, leave dark spots. what gets rid of them? and quickly? Anything and everything will be appreciated. How do i get rid of the after effect of dark spots cause by pimples?
WashHow do i get rid of the after effect of dark spots cause by pimples?
Here are simple tips on how to get rid of those persistent dark spots.

    1. Use sunscreen daily with SPF 15 or higher. It is always wise to block the sun that darkens and harms the skin. This will also minimize your risk of acquiring skin cancer.

    2. Do not pick your pimples or zits since it can result in permanent scarring.

    3. Pick up a product that contains mild hydroquinone since it is the main ingredient in most skin bleaches. If you cannot tolerate hydroquinone, try other skin brighteners. Hydroquinone is usually used with glycolic acid and tretinoin.

Always remember that skin bleaching is not instant. It may take you three months to a year to fade the darkened skin depending on your skin tone. Moreover, try not to abuse your skin. If you have persistent skin problems like acne that leave scars, treat them immediately and stop the cycle.

Also remember that prevention is always better than cure.
Mix nutmeg powder with a little unboiled milk and apply on acne or pimples and wash after an hour this remedy when done once or twice a week for some time will not leave any acne marks on the skin . More such solutions at http://usefulinfo-pimples.blogspot.com/

How to reduce black spots by myself?

I didn't have pimples. These black spots occur by the small red spots. I have to go to the weddings next week. I have only 1 week in my hand. Plz tell me how to reduce them. Any home remedy or product from well known company will do. These are only on sides of my cheek. Some are small, some are big(specially on left side of my cheek). Below my eyes also blackness has occured. For it also plz tell me any solution. How to reduce black spots by myself?
The Neutrogena does work well, but it takes 6 months or so to notice a reduction in the black heads.

Biore have some pore treatment, you stick them on your nose with water and when they dry its pulls the black heads out. You can use them every three days if you need too. This should help get rid of some. You can buy them at any pharmacy. How to reduce black spots by myself?
You should've ask this question 6months ago sorry just get so concealer and call it a day.
If these black spots are blackheads then you can use a sugar water paste( more sug then wat)or Neutragena has some stuff (Oil-Free Acne Wash Daily Scrub). You can get almost any where and I found it works great w/ bh. The sug and wat work great too.

Why do I get spots only on the left of my face?

I only get spots mainly on the left hand side of my face and I don't understand why this is.

Also I have this spot on my cheek which has been there for about 3-4 weeks now, what is wrong with it?Why do I get spots only on the left of my face?
Do you touch the left side of your face more or have bangs on that side? You know just resting that side against your hand could be the cause. Why do I get spots only on the left of my face?
Part of the reason is which side you sleep on at night. The side of your face which touches the pillow is more likely to have pimples or spots.
I don't really think its anything wrong... But I'm not a doctor. I would go see one or a dermatologist just so you can get an answer.
I'm not sure what is wrong... really anything could be wrong... i would go see a doctor.

  • Why am I getting spots when i use Clean and Clear face wash in the morning and evening?

Is it anything to do with hormones? and I'm 15 years old btw.Why am I getting spots when i use Clean and Clear face wash in the morning and evening?
Maybe because you are a teenager and have not finished going through puberty yet, so your hormones are all over the place causing your skin to produce too much sebum. Drink lots of water and try to eat lots of fresh fruit and veg, and try not to worry about spots. Stress makes spots worse.

You will grow out of this, it's perfectly normal. Why am I getting spots when i use Clean and Clear face wash in the morning and evening?
I made an appointment with a doctor. She prescribed me a gel for my face and it worked really well - it was called ';Acnecide 5% w/w gel'; and there were no side effects either because i know some give you incredibly dry and itchy skin. Clean and clear didn't work for me either ... i think it's a con ...

Failing that, just rub some toothpaste on them and it'll dry those suckers right up ... can never go wrong with the Colgate - it's worth a try.
Nothing works. Trust me- i'm 19 and still have the same problem. Lately tho, i tried Cliniques 3-step anti blemish n tho its not brilliant, its better than others i've tried over the years. A bit pricey, but worth it. No good using cheap stuff on ur face (been there, done that :/)

Ppl keep telling me to drink lots of water but it has the opposite effect on me. The more water i drink, the more i break out. If i havent drunk much water for days, i have clear skin. Weird, but i guess every1's skin is different..
Stop using clear and clear..it works nothing best than just clearing dirt and impurities on first layer of ur skin only..it doesnt clean skin deep though some if its products claim so
I was the same at your age, Its just your hormones, I tried all sorts of things but none of them really worked for me.
    change your diet
yes u will grow out of it dont worry everyone has/ nad them

What causes the white spots on nails?

    Hey everyone :)

I have heaps and heaps of white spots on my nails and I really want to know what causes them. I've asked a heap of people and everybody has a different answer so if I could have the ACTUAL answer that would be greatly appreciated! Also if you can, tell me how to get rid of them?

Thanks in advance xWhat causes the white spots on nails?
I was always told that it was from not getting enough calcium but every single day I drink a glass of full cream milk and sometimes I got the white spots and other times I was completely free of them. All the while, my calcium intake never changed. I've asked the doctor as well and they have confirmed that this is a myth, or an old wives tale if you prefer.

The white spots are actually caused by damage to the nail in the area whilst it is still under the skin. If you bang your hand around, or knock it in that general area (it doesn't have to be very hard at all, in fact you probably wouldn't even notice doing it) because the nail under that skin is still soft and unformed it causes it damage and that is what the white spot is once your nail grows out.

You can prevent them just simply by being more careful and taking better care of yourself. Stop banging your hands around, stop doing (r be more careful whilst doing) outside or other 'hands on' work. What causes the white spots on nails?
Actually, the biggest cause of that is due to previous injury to the nail bed.

Basically, it's like a bruise to your skin.

Everyone gets them, it's nothing to be worried about.

They could also be the result of a zinc deficiency, but if that was the case, you would probably also be experiencing hair loss and a slow immune system. Certain kinds of nail polish, and nail polish remover could cause this as well, being a mild nail allergy.

    Hope this helps!
I get a few of them now and then..

It's generally for deficiencies.. often calcium

Drink more milk and eat more calcium-containing foods - that should get rid of it.

I've also had a few friends in the past who had these spots from an iron-deficiency, so that might be the case for you aswell.

Just check out if your having a proper balanced diet really.
When I was growing up there was a saying that the white spots on your nails means that you told a lie. I don't know how true it is but I grew up thinking it was true.
Sometimes they can be caused by a zinc deficiency and other times (more commonly) by a slight bump or bang that you probably didn't even notice at the time. They are harmless and the only problem they cause is being sometimes unsightly.
They are calcium deposits in your nails.
    Not getting enough calciumm.

    DRINK YOUR MILK AND CHEESE.
i dunno! but i have them too! ive noticed that i had them more when i ate meat.......i only have a random one here and there

How do I remove spots on face?

Is there any product that I can buy and actually works?

Should I visit local doctor? If yes, which doctor? Dermatologist/skin doctor?

How long should I expect for the spot to be completely removed?

well i dont know how to remove them but i can help u cover them up.

your cover up: pick a foundation that adjusts to the color of ur skin to make it look even- and a stick conceler that matches ur skin tone to lighten the mark

use a sponge to smooth the foundation onto ur skin (make sure it really sinks in)

after that, tap the conceler on just that spot, and with ur RING FINGER blend it into the foundation so it disappears.

    Oil of Olay microdermabrasion kit.

It has lactic acid in it which helps reduce dark marks. I also drink copious amounts of water. My parents have commented on the improvement. I also use the regenerating serum once a day. It's like a forty to fifty dollar investment for both the kit and the serum but you can't put a price on good skin. Besides, it lasts a while. I've been using it for 2 months and I think I can get at least another month, month and a half out of it. However, I'm also not as religious about it as I used to since my skin improved. I get a lot of comments from friends about how pretty I look now, even though my skin still has a bit to go before getting completely clear.
i use proactiv and it's really been helping to get rid of my acne scars! it's making my skin softer and smoother and evening out my skintone! can't say it will work for you, but it's working great for me!

also, neutrogena has a product called acne mark fading peel. you could try it. i used it for a little while a few years ago, and it seemed to be making a difference. it's about $10-15 though, so i stopped using it b/c i couldn't afford it (when i was a student...!)

bio oil!! the stuff is great, it works for everything!!
Vitamin E. Get the capsules and break them open or get the gel. Works great! You can find them at the dollar general for 2 bucks too. Another idea would be to use sesame oil or grapeseed oil as a moisturizer. Don't use anything with chemicals because it could make it worse. Try a Wild Oats or another health store and they'll hook you up. Good luck! (I used Vitamin E tablets on my c-section scar and it no longer exists)
Hyland's calendula cream, in a petrolum base, you can buy it on amazon.com, a health food store, or the natural first aid section of the grocery store.

How to remove dark spots from the lips & keep them pinkish?

I use good brand chapsticks round the year %26amp; very rarely apply lip glosses, off course of good brand. I don't smoke. Please help! How to remove dark spots from the lips %26amp; keep them pinkish?
You may want to see a doctor to rule out any medical cause for black spots on your lips. Stop sucking on your bottom lip. Saliva will dry out your lips, making them worse. Try applying VAseline petroleum jelly. Apply Vaseline to your lips regularly. Also, applying ghee or oilve oil regularly will help. . Ghee is also very good, apply a little ghee every night. This keeps lips moisturised. You could also apply lemon juice to your lips daily, to lighten them slightly. Also, if you feel conscious, wear lipstick! Wear lipstick with sunscreen, as uv radiation may cause pigmentation. Don't suck on them. Make sure you never wear lipstick that is old or that has expired. Wear good, reliable brands. How to remove dark spots from the lips %26amp; keep them pinkish?
simply rub a slice of lemon on lips regularly..

can be a bit drying but can lighten the dark patch on lips..

so moisturize at night to keep it hydrated.

Overnight way to get rid of pimples and fade red spots?

I have a very important meeting tomorrow and am looking for a quick way to remove a couple of pimples and get rid of some red spots from my face overnight. I am allergic to aspirin, so I cannot use the aspirin mask. Proactiv also has not worked for me. Is there any effective alternative?Overnight way to get rid of pimples and fade red spots?
Alcohol does in fact kill bacteria. Most over the counter acne products contain alcohol. Don't rub it all over your face or it will dry out your face and force your body to produce more oil.

    Maybe tea tree oil?

P.S. Toothpaste has many harsh chemicals %26amp; harsh abrasives .... so you may only want to try it once...Overnight way to get rid of pimples and fade red spots?
To get rid of a pimple, first think if you're good at popping them when they are ready.

    1) If you are, then put vicks vapor rub on it and leave it on (I usually leave it on overnight). This will bring it out to a head which you can then *CAREFULLY* pop and get rid of.

    2) If you'd rather not mess with it, then put white toothpaste on it, this will either shrink it or make it go away (they won't always disappear completely).

If it is still red, visine works wonders.

    Good luck!
I have tried both Proactive and toothpaste, both with very little effect. The best and natural treatment for overnight relief is to steam your face, which will open up the pores, allowing them to breathe and thereby reducing the excess oils in your skin.

Creams, toothpastes etc will only end up clogging the pores and making it worse over time.

I have tried various pimple reduction techniques before settling on Thermaclear. For a detailed review, visit www.thermaclearreviews.com
I heard of using toothpaste in the affected area....

I normally put proactiv refine mask on the spot that irritates and the next day it will go away or at least calm down a bit. If you have any facial mask try this method too, who knows it might help to dry it up over night.
ive tried the toothpaste trick before, and it didnt really work that great. the best product to get rid of redness and pimples quick is clean and clear on the spot acne treatment. as long as u apply it 2x-3x a day, it will work miracles over night.

    http://www.drugstore.com/qxp87659_333181鈥?/a>
Vicks Vapor Rub. U can feeel it working but it may burn slighty but it works well. P.S U can use this anytime day or night. But dont use it when u r out as it can make ur skin cold. (its just like having a shower and going outside) Also don't wear it when out on a special occasion as it looks shiney and may make u look sweaty. Its best to wear at home while the results can be seen outside.
Wow the same things happen to me! Proactive just won't work, and it smells bad... I've tried everything else. There's no way for sure that you can get rid of them all in one night. But I'd take a shower and wash your face in there. The steam opens up the pores.
i wish there was. i use Murad and it works well but not over night. I feel your pain, proactive did nothing for me, and neither did any of the expensive prescription creams and facewashes. I hope someone can answer your question!

Good Luck at the meeting and God Bless!
Dab toothpaste on the pimples and leave it on overnight, and it will be next to nothing tomorrow. I do this all the time as well as recommend it all the time, it is always seems to work.
I heard non gel toothpaste works.

Best acne treatment I've ever used.

Wash your face with a cleanser. Once dry, apply about 4 pea sized lumps of Benzoyl Peroxide to the whole of your face. Rub it in, and wait 5 minutes. Then apply a good moisturizer, or your face will dry quickly.

You can read more about Benzoyl Peroxide and how to use it here:

    http://www.acne.org/regimen.html
try the 2 in 1 fight and fade acne treatment.

    it's by neutrogena.

you should use clay or mud masks. also you an just use rubbing alcohol to wipe them every day or some other astridgent lotion. also you can ask for something for inflamed wounds in a drug store(like some cream with weak antibiotics)
Tea Tree oil is suppose to work really well. You can get it at The Body Shop or just like vitamin cottage.

Age spots is there a product out that that will fade these annoying spots on the face?

There are quite a few...but there are ones made for asian skins that seem to be most effective. I recommend trying one called 21 days - you can buy it on eBay.

Then of course there's 'fade out' cream and also the 'Olay - 7 signs of aging' one. But I think the ones made specifically as 'skin lightening creams' are going to be the most effective.

cannot get rid of them, been drinking lots of water, eating healthily and its not hormonal i wear foundation but i make sure and wash it off every night and its oil free...please help!!Any know i good fast solution for getting rid of spots?
Washing off make up is a good start but you need to cleanse aswell because washing doesnt get rid of everything unfortuanately!!

    Benzyol Peroxide (Panadol, Quincaderm)

A really good cream/gel for getting rid of acne and black heads. You can get it practically anywhere and its very cheap.

A Good regime is to wash face (neutragena or simple face washes)

    pat dry

    leave face for 5 mins

    apply cream

let sink in for 5-10 mins, then apply moisturiser/make up (if worn)

Another good product (though expensive) is clinique clarifying lotion. Its an exfoiliator but looks like a toner. IT really cleans your skin. its about 拢12.60 in Tesco or Superdrug (Larger stores)...more expensive if you buy in a department store.

Also try to drink more water even if its the flavoured one or fizzy water. I do it by small cups rather then trying to drink a whole bottle.

Try to eat healthier, cut out fatty foods or cut down.

Make sure you take your make up off if you wear it and try to give your skin a chance to breathe.

Hope all this helps, Good LuckAny know i good fast solution for getting rid of spots?
You cant get rid of them they will be there for as long as they want. My mate had them all the way up to being 20 then he was given something that dried out the skin, but he has now got bad joints instead and will probaly only be working into his 40s so not a good deal if you ask me. So dont take those things just leave it they will go with time you just have to wait
hi the best solotion is freederm,my son had spots ,since he as used this there ave all gone he now as lovely skin try it u can get it from the chemist
If it's bad see a doctor
See a dermatologist. He/she would be more through than us trying to guess at your ';spots. Their Rx would would fit you like a glove.
How bad are they? If it's just a few spots every now and then, try an off-the-shelf cleanser like Clearasil or Tea Tree Oil, or some pore-cleansing pads. There's lots of different products - see what works for you.

Unfortunately I don't wear foundation so don't know how that affects things. Eating healthily and drinking water is all good, though. Vitamin C is particularly good I believe.

If it's more serious and you're regularly covered in spots, go see your GP. I had serious acne for years and tried everything, but then I got some decent antibiotics and they're finally gone :)

EDIT: I don't know what Mark J's friend was taking, but you CAN do something about them. They don't always go on their own, and in bad cases can leave you with scars (believe me, my face is proof), so there's no reason not to treat them.
Well i had a lot of spots but i then started using clearasil and mousturiser every night and i also used sudocrem everey night when i went to bed but it leaves white marks on your pillow
    drink lot of water.

dont pop or prick at the break outs.

wash ur face 3 times n dont use soap.

    dont use toothpastes on face

massage ur face with almond oil for 5 min n then let it stay for 30 min n then wipe off with damp cloth.

Gud luck, dats all i did to be clean n clear from my troubled face
I use papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are

available on line. Maybe it will work on you too.

I am not sure wher you mean dark areas or spots as in pimples. For dark areas you just use a general blemish concealer.

Rimmel Recover Anti-Fatigue Concealer, (budget one for under eyes)

Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer (according to Marie Claire a favourite with makeup artists all over the world)

Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Light Diffusing Concealer Pen

Revlon Colorstay Blemish Concealer For the Face

L'Oreal Infallible Concealer (good for hiding pimples large and small)

Bourjois Anticerne Pour Petits Matins 鈥?Anti Shadow Concealer (good budget concealer for eye bags)

Mary Kay Full Coverage Correcting Conceal

Maybelline New York Cover Stick Corrector Concealer (winner of Allure 2007 beauty award)

Benefit Galactic Shield (good for acne)What is the best concealer to hide my very dark spots?
I used the Clinique one, which wasn鈥檛 too bad, which was instant boost, blends quite well, but it wears off after a few hours.

Touche Eclat is what I use at the mo and I have few on the go, and it鈥檚 *ok*, but not that miracleous, maybe I was expecting too much. Although, it has to be said that I like the way you don鈥檛 have to overblend it, you can just dab it there, like with eye cream.

I had a make-over recently in Bobbi Brown and she used the creamy concealer, but she also used a corrector cream prior to that, as a result of which I got scared of meself in the mirror, but it did stay during the day, so I鈥檇 imagine the concealer alone is quite good as well.

And, during another make-over, I had the Giorgio Armani one put under my eyes, which is fab, but I think I would have needed a bit more coverage for my taste and I鈥檓 not sure about whether it would have lasted.
I suggest Loreal. Clinique would work for some, but for me, the concealer sticks out, you can tell it's there.
I don`t know about cheap products but MAYBELLINE is really good.

Is it possible for hair to regrow in patterned bald spots?

I'm still not sure or not but I'm losing my hair and it's slowly becoming noticeable. I want to know if there's anything I can do before I'm completely bald.Is it possible for hair to regrow in patterned bald spots?
This is a NATURAL, safe, treatment that truly stops loss almost straight away and forces regrowth. It has helped others on ANSWERS.(can send you info.) Massage thoroughly with olive or any natural oil - then brush vigorously using a palm held brush with short natural boar bristles - soft bristled for fine straight hair and stiff bristled for thicker non straight hair- so you really feel it stimulating scalp - 90 /100 strokes at beginning building up to more - each day, focusing on where loss is. Will heal scalp and unplug blocked hair ducts that sometimes cause loss - they are the painful small itching spots. A little shedding and breakage may occur at first but quickly stops as brushing makes hair stronger and better anchored. Hair will grow fast, thicker and It will force the new growth. Initially new hairs will be weak looking and sparse. Don't be concerned if brushing uproots them as they will re-appear even stronger. My hair has completely regrown on crown. Where receded at front regrowth was slower and sparse at first then each month it became denser. It demands perseverance week in, week out to get the same results.

Thinning and loss can be caused by many shampoos - particularly anti dandruff ones - and hair products that contain countless hair, scalp and even health harming harsh and toxic ingredients. Find ';Non harmful shampoos, etc'; with Google searches. Some will come up and be expensive or only available on-line so refine search by adding ';low cost';. Available in GNC, Trader Joes, Some Walmart Stores, Cost Plus, Wegmans, Earth Fare, natural %26amp; health foods stores.

I Have had feed back from some on Answers who have had even more success using treatment. One had substantial regrowth in just 6 months.

What could be the cause of sudden increase of Dark Spots on face and nose?

Lately, I've discovered that the number of dark spots on my face, that is cheeks, cheek bones and around and on top of my nose have increased, only recently, in a matter of days and I haven't even exposed myself to the sun that much or at all. I wonder what could be the cause of this sudden increase, there seems to be more spots forming up. Is there any reason behind and what is the cure or permanently getting rid of the dark spots, I'm a male actually, with a fair skin.

  • Why does my skin feel oily and have flaky dry spots at the same time?

Mostly on my chin and forehead and a little in my T-zone.Why does my skin feel oily and have flaky dry spots at the same time?
i reckon you have a combination skin. You should use a moisturiser suited for this type of skin. And find the ones which are oil free too.Why does my skin feel oily and have flaky dry spots at the same time?
Dry skin means you have a lack of water, not a lack of oil. Cleansers that strip oil from your skin also create dryness and cause your body to produce more oil to moisturize your skin (your body can't produce water). You need a cream cleanser with AHA (alpha hydroxy acid). It will moisturize, cleanse, and exfolliate your skin. Try Murad exfoliating cleanser with AHA or Dermalogica gentle cleanse or tryactive cleanse. Talk to an esthetician if you can--these are two good products available at Ulta or Sephora. Don't overwash your face, and use a nice, oil-free moisturizer. Invest in your skin! Good luck
Because you have combination skin. This means that you have parts that are dry and parts that are oily. Different areas are on different ends of the spectrum. You need to get yourself a good facial cleanser or routine that is for your specific skin type. There are ones out there designed specifically for your skin! They bring moisture to the dry spots while removing all the excess oil in the others.

    Good luck!

Cetaphil is a great product too

use fresh aloe or onion to help eliminate scars and spots also Vitamin K is good for this too

Different products work for different people.

Try using Clearsil Deep Cleansing Scrub and then the Vanishing Cream to get rid of blemishes
the good old fashioned way! wear little make up! people wear it to cover up spots/blemishes but when you dont wear it you dont have any to cover up! - i noticed that after two days of cutting down the amount of make up i wore and taking it off as soon as i didnt need it with water or an non fraganced face wipe that my face looked compleatly different! also washing it with a simple face wash at night works really well and using a gentle moisturiser after (i recommend nivia) but becarefull not to over wash it as you will be doing more damage then good by washing away everthing your skin needs!
take fruit facial once a month

if not, i think foundation will cover them up just for tomorrow.

i don't know if it works or not but zinc will make you sick to your stomach so I suggest mabey eating something before taking it. I was told zinc is supposed to heal your body from the inside out.
nope. I've tried it!!! Pretty much conceeler works.

use a facewash that has tea tree and aloe vera in it, a good quality one. use pure tea tree oil on a cotton bud and dab it on your spots at night. use an oil free moisturiser, and cleanse and tone your face. Wash with lots of soap morning and night and use a clay based facemask twice a week. When should my spots start to clear up?
right, this is what works for me-

clean and clear moisterizer and tone lotion every day. they help prevent sopts and blemishes (what ever that means)! ive had mine for about a month and they have completly gone.

The main thing to remember is DONT SQUEEZE/POP/SCRATCH THEM! they will stay for a long lonjg time if you do.

i hope that helps, good luck (:
If you wash your face regurely and have showers regurely.

Use spot cream, once in the morning, once at night.

If you do these things they will go away after a week or two at the very most.

  • I'm a male with large pores who often get spots and blackheads. How can I stop this from happening?

I want to have smooth and clear skin, what can I use on my skin?I'm a male with large pores who often get spots and blackheads. How can I stop this from happening?
It depends - everyone's skin is different, and responds to different things. Trial and error is the best way.

    1. Benzoyl peroxide: clean your skin with very mild soap and then apply a benzoyl peroxide cream (this is the popular Acne.org regimen). Works very well for some people. Some get reddened, itchy or inflamed skin. It has a peeling effect (unclogs pores) and it is antibacterial.

    2. BHAs (salicylic acid) - unclog the pores. Acne comes when skin cells don't get sloughed off efficiently and plug pores. Bacteria grows underneath (P. acnes) and then you get an inflamed pimple. BHAs (and AHAs, like glycolic acid) work to keep the skin cells moving, a process called desquamification. P. acnes needs an anaerobic environment to grow.

    3. Clay masks - removes oil and dead skin cells. More of a long term solution.

    4. Sulfur also works well - it stinks, but some products really clear up your skin fast. It is good at breaking down existing pimples, but I don't think it works super well long term.

Currently, I am using AHAs/BHAs - I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide. I have a deeper exfoliating mask once a week, and also sometimes a sulfur treatment when there are some breakouts. But I'm a product queen. Keep it simple to start.

Overall, be patient. Try one thing at a time, and give it a month to work (unless it provokes a severe reaction). Keep your pillowcases, phone and facecloths clean. Also, exercise, eating a balanced diet and taking some time to really relax every day can and will help. Best of luck.I'm a male with large pores who often get spots and blackheads. How can I stop this from happening?
Cleanse your face with a cleanser that is low in alchohol (to prevent drying).

Then get a biggish bowl of hot water (or use the sink) and hover your face over it with a towel over your head to lock all of the steam in. Do this for 10 minutes - This will open your pores really wide so it is easier to get rid of all the dirt that is causing spots and blackheads.

Then use an exfoliator to get rid of dead skin cells and dirt from the pores. Gently apply it to your damp face and rub in with wet fingers.

When you have done this, use a mask (such as dermalogica antibac) on the affected areas and leave it on for about 10 minutes (you may feel some tingling but this is just because its really working into your skin).

This mask is particularly good for getting rid of excess sebum (an oily substance which mositurizes the skin - people with oily, spotty skintypes are producing excess sebum which clogs pores therefore causing spots/blackheads)

After this has been done finsh off with a toner and mosituriser (make sure you use an oily skin type mosituriser or else you will just reverse the process you have just carried out)

Repeat once a week - this should help!! sorry if i rambled.
First I have to say, that large pores are in our genes, they will never go away, but a great deal can be done to reduce them and make your skin healthy and clear.

You need to get into a routine with your cleaning regime, buy some facial exfoliator (I use simply a exfoliating glove from Body Shop), some cleansing gel and some masks that promise reducing pores. I give my boyfriend a facial once a fortnight, and over the months the pores on his nose really improved! He loves Witch Hazel products from Boots. Do not forget to use toner (applied on cotton pads) after cleaning your skin. Leave the toner on and apply moisturiser - I personally love Beauty Serum from No7 (Boots). It is very light and sinks right in and reduces shine too.

Also I would recommend to see your doctor, you may have some form of acne. Drink lots of water to get toxines out of your body and eat healthily. You can also buy Skin Nails Hair tablets - they contain zinc and vitamins B which are essential if you have skin problem.
keep your pores clean/ face clean and use refining masks and stuff like that to close your pores. also, rinse your face with warm water every night and morning and try and keep your hands off your face. hands are very dirty, and that dirt is easily transferred into the skin on your face, so try not to touch your face and keep your hands clean.
You could start by trying some oil-free foam cleansers (preferably balancing ones) and then use blackhead scrubs (the ones with the beads in them). You could easily find these in drug stores, and... Neutrogena works for most people.

    Good luck :)
wash your face with cold water that will shrink the pores and close them also get a blackhead eraser or something that prevents them
use a clay mask twice a week. and use an exfoliating scrub daily to remove dirt and oils, follow up with a light moisturizer.
    clay mask kaolin

Why does acne spots fill up again after they have been eradicated?

What the best way to prevent this so they can heal and not fill up again%26gt;?Why does acne spots fill up again after they have been eradicated?
By ';eradicated'; do you mean that you squeezed the crap out of them until there was nothing left? If that is so, I have found that pimples only fill up again if they haven't been completely ';emptied';. You need to squeeze them properly or not squeeze them at all.Why does acne spots fill up again after they have been eradicated?
The very best way is to see a dermatologist and get a cream to use daily. Without the doctor, clean your face with hydrogen peroxide every day using a cotton ball. Then rinse and apply lemon juice.
Wash up face every morning and night. and use cream on them.

  • What should I use to remove the scars, black spots and blemishes due to pimples?

My skin is oily and i had pimples on my face... but eventually they all went away leaving scars and blemishes behind. I cant tolerate them on my face any more. Please suggest me some remedies to get rid of them...What should I use to remove the scars, black spots and blemishes due to pimples?
There's two things that I'd suggest.

The first is bio oil. Being a teenager i find it useful for many things, especially getting rid of a 1cm scar on my knee, eeew! Bio oil may seem pricey but for the amount you use on each use it could well last you for more than a year. I've had my bottle for two years now, although I don't use it that often but every once in a while and it's still nearly full.

The second product I could recommend is Dalacin T Topical Lotion. I believe the only way to purchase this is with a prescription and when I got it it was actually to get rid of my acne. I had got used to the scars and didn't think anything about the lotion getting rid of them, although it did. The scars from past pimples were fading after one day of using this. I have been using it for only one week now and already they've al gone!

Also this really does of course work to get rif if zits!

Hope I've helped and Good Luck! =-DWhat should I use to remove the scars, black spots and blemishes due to pimples?
Thanks. I have seen bio-oil in sainsburys, boots and superdrug in the UK or you could buy online. I'm sure you'll find it as it's becoming more common and there's an ad on TV. The packaging is white with orange writing in a rectangular box. Bio-oil comes in three sizes (I have the smallest) =-D Report Abuse

    1. Remember When your scab first falls off, make sure you keep it out of the sun for a few days. That doesn't mean you have to stay inside, but wear a hat for the first few days just so that the scar doesn't become permanent.

    2. Rub aleo vera gel on you scar until it goes away. This will help the skin resurface and grow back healthy. You can buy this at CVS if you wanted to. It's not very expensive. Alternatively, you can try Burts Bees coconut foot creme.

    3. Be sure that you clean your skin. Don't be scared to hurt your skin if you wash it. It's actually very good for your scar to wash it, even if your using products. But use products that aren't sensitive to the skin because it can make your scar red and dry.

How do I get rid of bumps and red spots that are not acne?

I have these bumps on my face and chest (some red, some skin coloured) that are not acne. I tried to use acne medication on them, but that only made them worse. Someone told me they might be caused by dry skin so I tried putting lotion on them but no luck. I really need to get rid of them soon, so if anyone has any ideas PLEASE let me know!!!How do I get rid of bumps and red spots that are not acne?
drink lots of water.clean your face before going to bed and rub an ice cube on the spots n bumps.they could have also been caused due to hot wheather, and coz the human body sweats, the pores of your skin get blocked causing these problems.try these tips..maybe it will help you:)How do I get rid of bumps and red spots that are not acne?
    Try Vitamin A.
If it starts to itch you should go to the doctor right away because it might be eczema. if not, the red bumps could be caused by the use of your towels. if you use the same towel for your body and your face, that could be the reason why. one of my friends had that problem and her doctor said it was caused by the bacteria from her body.
Just use loads of exfoliant and cucumber facewash. Eat aubergines
    go to the doctor
Acne doesn't care about the age and it's not caused by dirt of the food you eat. Acne is primarily impacted by four major factors:1-The release of increased numbers of dead skin cells resulting in clogged pores. 2-An increase in the amount of bacteria building up deep in the pores. 3- a hormone change that causes an increased in the production of excess oil from the glands.4- and an inflammation caused by the buildup of bacteria. What is the best way to get rid of spots?

I have a few spots which appear on my face and then when they decide to go, they leave a small red scars which are really quite unattractive! Id like to know the best way in which to get rid of spots and help reduce the appearance of the scars.thanks.What is the best way to get rid of spots?
The best spot removal topical lotion that I have used so far is Zenmed's Derma Cleanse Acne Gel. It is a completely herbal product that works very well for getting rid of facial acne, spots and zits. I'm very satisfied with its effectiveness, so would advise you to also try it out for quick relief from spots.

The gel would not only clear up your spots quickly but would also open clogged pores that would help to accelerate the healing process, and reduce the redness and swelling that spots appear with at times. Using this product for getting rid of pimples or spots, you will not find much scars being left. Go for it, it really works! What is the best way to get rid of spots?
Well, to keep my skin clear and blemish free i use Neutrogena clean and clear. The wash and face mask combo. It really works on my skin and is best for the oily/blemish prone skin. Although different things work for different people.

I use the wash in the morning and evening, cleaning thoroughly and washing off and the mask once a week. I'd reallyrecommendd it.

Whatever you use, just make sure you're using it properly and reasonably thoroughlyy to get best results and in the mean time drink plenty of water and excersise. That's the key to nice skin.

    Good luck.
clearsill is the best spot treatment but if u drink water all the time they go because water cleans your skin
Bio oil is good for the scars whatever you do do not pick the spots it will make them worse.
Well iv just started using netrogena daily facial scrub(th eon on the advert with vanessa hudgens)

and its cleared my skin all ready

    its a daily scrub

    and it dosnt over dry
This is simple, but I've found it to be pretty effective. Eating fruit %26amp; veg %26amp; Getting enough sleep!
I had acne, so i got these tablets from my doctor and this lotion i put on every night. My face is now clear.

How do you get rid of age and sun spots on your face?

How do you get rid of age and sun spots on your face? I know there are some creams out there but does anyone know of any that really work? This question was brought on after my youngest child counted a bunch of moles on my face and called me moley daddy. Please help! How do you get rid of age and sun spots on your face?
    You have 6 options.

    1. Use Nadinola. Its a fade cream.

    2. Use a Cocoa Butter product that contains vitamin E. It evens out your complextion.

    3. Take Vitamin E tablets or capsuls. This promotes healthy skin and even tone all over your body. Women use it when they are pregnant to prevent stretch marks. Also most people have dark knees and elbows. That makes it all even. Also it reduces scars and after 6 months they are not visible with constnt use.

    4. Use an Alpha Hydroxy product on your face that contains vitamin A%26amp;E to help restore natural moisture balance and defy age and smooth wrinkle.

    5. Increase water intake. It is hard to scar, bruise, and get uneven spots or burns when your skin is properly moisturized. Have you ever heard of burning or marking something wet? Same thing with acne. You can't form on something wet. Not your actual skin but the underlayer.

    6. Go with someone else's answer. My mom is a dermotologist and answered this question for me. :)How do you get rid of age and sun spots on your face?
try using yogourt and a little bit of lemon every day for 15 min. Report Abuse

What the safe and fastest way to minimize acne spots?

I've been battling with acne spots for a very long time. Just wonder ing what products really work. Can anyone helpWhat the safe and fastest way to minimize acne spots?
    A combination of a 10% benzoyl peroxide solution and a 2%

BHA (alternating morning and night) works best for me.What the safe and fastest way to minimize acne spots?
I had the same problem, for years. It really pissed me off that I should have been more popular, except for the pimples. I am smart and funny, but they just ate away at my self-esteem. I was determined to get rid of them by hook or by crook.

I tried a whole bunch of things like proactive and others but nothing seemed to work. I tried a few different books and ebooks and nothing helped. Then, I read an awesome e-book that will teach you all the home remedies that you will need to get rid of acne permanently. At first I thought it was too expensive, but then I realized that I pay this much like every month for pimple medicine and washes, and this was a one time thing. Best decision I ever made! Not only did it help me stop getting pimples, it also helped clear up my onld pimple scars, which were really pissing me off!

You can learn about the book at this link

    http://bambiberg.solution72.hop.clickban鈥?/a>

I tried some books from my dermatologist, but they didn't help me, plus I kept on forgetting to return them to the library. The best thing about the ebook is that i downloaded it right away, and i had the copy forever.

hi. I'm in the same boat as you and I've been battling my dreaded acne scars for awhile now. I thought there was no hope until I decided to try microdermebrasion. I bought the Ponds brand at Wal-Mart and it has dramatically reduced my acne marks! I've been using it for about three weeks now and it is making some significant progress! Try it and see what your results are. It takes time so don't expect results overnight.

    Patience is a virtue
If you鈥檙e looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

my sister suffered the same problem. she then went to see gp and after being given some contraceptive pills, her skin has improved alot. maybe you can try it.
    toothpaste
try DDF product line. I tried their Therapeutic Sulfur Mask and use it as a mask and spot treatment. People said it has a strong smell, but i don't think it does and as a spot treatment, it helps to calm to acne and make the swelling goes down in a night. it works for me. It costs about $32 a jar but it should last for a while. If you just want to try it out, you can go to Sephora and ask for samples. I bought this after i read reviews on makeupalley.com. They give reviews on almost all makeup products in the market and those reviews were given by consumers.
There are many factors to why we get acne. I am 35 and have battled all my adult life. I recently started using Mary Kay products regularly ad the difference is amazing. My skin glows! But generally, exfoliate, moisturise and protect from the sun and clean ur makeup off before your head hits the pillow.

  • How do I get rid of red marks from spots fast?

I was stupid %26amp; squeezed a couple of my spots %26amp; now they're very red, noticeable %26amp; painful. I'm going back to school Monday next week so I need to get rid of them as fast as possible. PLEASE HELP!How do I get rid of red marks from spots fast?
Apply ice to the spot and let sit for a few minutes. After that apply a warm wet cammomile tea bag. Something in the cammomile helps calm the skin. Apply this once daily.Use apple cider vinegar diluted 50/50 with water as'; toner';. I personally apply a drop of honey when I have a blemish and it goes away in a day or two. Other than that, you can always try hemmoroid cream. It does the trick too. my Grandma told me all these solutions and they all work within a few days. also even though your skin may appear oily the most common cause of skin blemishes is dry skin. Be sure to use some kind of face cream every day at least once. If you have sensitive skin try remedies from your kitchen like honey, olive oil and avacadoes.

How do I get rid of red marks from spots fast?
I had the same problem as you and this seemed to work for me (remembering we have different skin types)

1)Wash your face with hot water (opens pores and cleanses) and then cold water (closes the pores)

2)Have about 2-5 glasses of water and aim for 5 fruit and veg a day

3)Finally i used sudocream reduce the redness. Dab some sudocream on (dont rub in) put a towel down on your pillow and leave it on overnight.

    It worked dreams for me

Why do women in the encyclopedia and movies paint spots on their breasts?

No, so you could stare at them longer.......Why do women in the encyclopedia and movies paint spots on their breasts?

Take a supplement of zinc (15mg) and B complex. Eve loms dynaspot is brilliant. Get rid of any makeup thats got mineral oil in it. Use Jane Iredale/Bare Escentuals makeup. To get rid of scarring, the best I know of is Lancome Resurface peel, for 1 months use. Its superb.

try and do the whole clearasil thing-spot sticks are good too-you just rub it on the newly appearing spot and it goes down and the redness goes away-there are loads of different ones-look in superdrugs or boots
    toothpaste

    IT REALLY DOES WORK
Use a skin lightener or whitener just on the spots, twice a day. Also, exfoliate once a day. And use Palmer's cocoa butter lotion as a moisturizer. But be sure to use a good sunscreen if you're going to be in the sun. Because the sun cause dark spots to become darker.
Dab a little toothpaste on them before you go to bed....it really does work!
    Get yourself a good cue.
differin cream get them at the docs.drink water and tea.
Wash your face with Dermalogica dermal clay cleanser and apply Freederm gel to spots...or failing that dab on some TCP
    Squeeeeeeeeze!!!!!!!!!!!
buy a good cleanser and exfoliator!!!!! also any sort of clay mask will help!
I found the best way for me to get rid of little spots on my face was to get a cottonball and squeeze about 10 drops of lime juice or lemon juice onto it. Then dab it all over the affected areas....It really clears up quickly, you start to notice a big difference in a day or so.

You can find lemon juice or lime juice in a regular grocery store same with cotton balls or kleenex/tissues.

have loads of fresh air and water

you could dab lemon juice on your spots too

avoid all sweets and sugary things

put a dab of toothpaste on your spots but dont rub it in just put a small blob on them and leave it overnight and then in the morning use heat oxy pads to wash it off.

i got this off a website, it will be in the preveiw...

    1. Wash your face, GENTLY!!!!!!!!!!! with WARM water, just splash it with your hands! Do not srub around too much, just make sure all of your face is wet.

    2. Now take some soap, (I used imperial lether), and gently lather it up in your fingers to get it all bubbly!! lol! thengently rub it on your face, pay particular attention to your t-zone, scub GENTLY in the areas that are sensitive.

    3. Wash off GENTLY with warm water, and PAT DRY with a towel. MAKE SURE ALL THE SOAP IS OFF because 62 % of people who have spots only have spots because they do not wash the products from their face properly!!

    4. Does you face feel dry and stretched afterwards?? DON'T APPLY MOISTURISER!! even oil free ones!! seriously, i just ignored the dry feeling and within a few days, after i washed my face it didn't feel dry anymore!
For blackheads you could try exfoliating with salt, but you really need to wash it off properly after ward and moisturise with a water based product rather than oil based. also try not to eat to much junk food, a drink loads of water. When you wash never use soap either.
i say use either tea tree oil (dilute with water) or lemon juice. for best results put liquids on cotton wool and dab all over skin. afterwards to prevent spots, wipe your face everyday with clensing wipes. i recommend simple products.
    tea tree products are good

Is tea tree oil good for getting rid of spots?

its just that i bought a product that has tea tree oil from boots

and its supposed to remove spots,

have you ever used it? do you think it will work??Is tea tree oil good for getting rid of spots?
i buy the tea tree oil straight up from health food stores and it works great for pimples and suchIs tea tree oil good for getting rid of spots?
it helps in opening the pores on the skin so that the topical creams can penetrate .it also makes the face less oily .however the removal of spots is not to my knowledge
Hi tea tree oil is very good for pimples and reduces the dark spots left by pimples (i.e. blemishes) but it does not remove them completely...im currently using it and it is very good for pimples.
Herbs like tea tree oil and lavender oil, both antiseptics, can be applied neatly to pimples/spots to get rid of it very quickly.
its good for acne, don't know about spots

Spots on legs and hands due to the use of epilator?

Ok, so I used an epilator for about a year. About three months ago, I noticed that my legs and hands have developed LOTS of ingrowns. Since then I stopped using the epilator and the ingrowns are mostly gone. HOWEVEr, I have a lot of dark spots on my hands and legs instead of the ingrowns and they don't seem to be going away. Is there anything I can do to make them go away. And how long does it usually take to see results?Spots on legs and hands due to the use of epilator?
NOTE鈥 HAVE WRITTEN THIS LONG ANSWER TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS RELATING TO BECAUSE THEY COME UP SO OFTEN:

    OILY SKIN

    ACNE

    FACIAL LIGHTENING

    DEALING WITH ACNE SCARRING

    DEALING WITH STRETCH MARKS

    IMPROVING SKIN TONE

    PIMPLES

    BLACKHEADS

    EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT

    INGROWING HAIRS

    BODY ACNE

鈥HE INFO鈥橲 BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE. I鈥橫 36 NOW SO I鈥橵E HAD TO DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES FOR QUITE A WHILE AND THOUGH MUCH OF THIS ANSWER MAY BE IRRELEVANT, I HOPE THERE'LL BE SOMETHING THAT CAN HELP YOU!

    GOOD LUCK!!!

RECOMMENDED SKIN CARE鈥 use clean and clear cream wash (good for sensitive skin or those that dry to easy) or Neutrogena clear skin make up remover wash. Both contain salicylic acid which prevents breakouts and gradually evens the skin tone out too. This is the most important thing you can do. I鈥檝e tried various 鈥榦il free鈥?鈥檚alicylic acid鈥?moisturisers but the best I鈥檝e found is the clean and clear on鈥 found the Neutrogena one actually seemed to aggravate my skin.

EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT!...The toothpaste things works! Put on a blob at night and put a bit of tissue over it so it doesn't make a mess. It cools the area down and reduces the inflammation. I also recommend the clean and clear advantage spot treatment gel.

HORMONAL SPOTS鈥ny female with spots I'd recommend trying dianette or yasmine contraceptive pills because if it's hormonal that can sort everything out within weeks鈥hough it can take a couple of months to get used to the pill.

FACIAL ACNE: AVOID鈥on't use harsh scrubs and peroxide products daily like some people do; that can dry your skin and make produce MORE oil...just exacerbating the problem. Many face packs I鈥檝e tried and those blackhead removal strips too seem to have caused problems.

I鈥檝e also had problems with those 鈥榝acial wipes鈥?made by clean and clear and Neutrogena because they鈥檙e too drying and when the top layer鈥檚 too dry, the oil gets stuck underneath and causes more problems!

Some say chocolate doesn鈥檛 affect it鈥t does for me and I don鈥檛 know how or why that should be but certain foods do seem to affect break out. Coffee is one of those things that seems to aggravate my skin too. So look out for anything you eat that might be making it worse.

HAIR PRODUCTS鈥e careful what products you use in your hair if it's long - certain conditioners have causes me to break out at times. Also be careful of hair gels, hair sprays and serums.

INGROWING HAIRS鈥or men or women鈥f you have oily skin, these are more likely. For men鈥se a facial scrub and avoid moisturisers that don鈥檛 have salicylic acid in them if you use a moisturiser. Some hair conditioners are much better lubricants than shaving cream too 鈥?so you might want to try that, and then was afterwards with a clean and clear was etc. Also I recommend the microdermabrasion kit mentioned later.

For women鈥axing seems to cause the main problem 鈥?we pay most attention to our faces. Waxing seems to be the main culprit as opposed to shaving or hair removal creams鈥o avoid in-growing hairs, make sure to exfoliate. I recommend using those exfoliating gloves 鈥?that way, you can use any kind of shower gel.

NUTRITION鈥 recommend taking a 100% multi vitamin/mineral complex 鈥?those little spots you get around your mouth can be due to a vitamin b deficiency for example. Also I recommend Omega 369 oils every day because they improve blood flow.

OLD WIVES TALE??...It's an 'old wives tale' type remedy - but a spoonful of cider vinegar and honey in hot water 3 times a day is meant to help EVERYTHING. It tastes nice too...kinda like honey and lemon X

HYDRATION鈥?Keep your hydration right by drinking plenty of water, avoiding caffeine and alcohol and too much salt!

DEALING WITH SCARRING鈥here鈥檚 an excellent micro-dermabrasion scrub called 鈥榬e-finish鈥? by L'oreal. You only use it a couple of times a week (and use at night because it makes your face red!). It really works not just with the colouring but also the texture - smoothes it back out. It comes with it's own moisturiser which I don't use but I use the scrub at night a couple of times a week and put bio oil on which it supposed to help clear scarring and even skin tone.

If you get your skin relatively under control, try using '21 days Fade Cream' (which I get from eBay) because it quickly clears up any scarring. It鈥檚 a skin lightening cream and is very effective as long as your skin type agrees with it. Bio oil is a good alternative!

Also, to detract from the colour variations in your skin tone, I recommend using Benefit鈥檚 Posie Tint or Benetint lipstain 鈥?this can be put on your cheeks and lips (which also makes your teeth look whiter as an added bonus). Lipstain is better than lipstick because it doesn鈥檛 smudge and it stays on; you can put lip balm or lip gloss on over it. Also, if you use it (SPARINGLY) on your cheeks, it is just like putting water on there; it doesn鈥檛 aggravate the skin or cause breakouts.

I've went on oral medication for acne control, but now I would like to know how I can get my spots/scars to go away. Are there any creams that anyone knows of that has worked so far?How can I get rid of my back acne spots?
Acne on the Back or frequently referred to as ';Bacne'; is no different than common everyday pimples and zits. The only distinction being ';Bacne'; or Back acne occurs on your Back and that it tends to be much more severe and greater in numbers than pimples occurring anywhere else on the body such as your face or chest.

For fighting back acne, I would recommend Clear Poresacne product

The same thing happens to me! It's just because of sensitive skin. You just have to use a lot of shaving cream and go really slowly, carefully and gently. And right when you get out of the shower put on moisturizer. What is the proper way to shave without getting all those red spots a day or 2 later? Legs and other areas?
What may work for you is if you exfoliate your legs and under arms before you shave. Then just put plenty of shaving cream, have a sharp razor, use warm water, and shave slowly. Don't rush. It's easier to get cuts and ingrown hairs if you shave fast.

I've never tried it - but it's certainlhy worth a try for you - it would be cheap and safe.

I know there are many creams and products that promise to fade spots and I'm sure some of them work, eventually - it would depend on how much you want to spend.

In the meantime cover spots with foundation and a natural mineral powder to deflect light off them.

Wear plenty of sunscreen lotion on your face anytime you are outside.

I have never heard of such thing, but what I have used many times before is Skin Bleach Cream or just the Bar Soap for even-out-skin tones and it worked for me. I have naturally Tan complexion and being Asian my skin is prone to skin discolorations. Good luck!
Bleach ur skin like MJ! lol

Is there an at home remedy to help improve your skin and get rid of dark spots?

my skin is not the worst but i have dark circles under my eye's and my neck..is there some natural solutions? Is there an at home remedy to help improve your skin and get rid of dark spots?
well, i'd say to drink plenty of water and eat tomatoes. tomatoes help skin look their best! if that doesn't work, try getting a little sun to even out your skin.

-from my experience it's the bestWhat is the best foundation to cover up spots? And black bags unde your eyes?
The first time in my life I have broken down and bought a department store brand makeup and I couldn't be happier. I finally get what everyone is talking about when they say department store brands are better the drug store brands. The diffrence is amazing! I just recently started using MAC Studio Fix foundation. It is about $25 a bottle, but I find I don't go through it as fast. A little goes a long way where as when I was using drug store brands I had to use alot more to get the coverage I want and need to blend and cover all my imperfections. Plus it seems to control oil much better when I use it with the blot powder. I only have to touch up 2-3 times instead of 5-6. Good luck!
You need to put a concealer on first under the eyes and over the spots then try L'Oreal perfect cover or Rimmal all day foundation covers everything.
MAC Cosmetics, a little expensive but works
Clinique. Use to use all kinds of crap like rimmel, number 17 which were the wrongs shade, too like too dark, too matte.

clinqie is the best and my skin looks damn good afterwords if i may say so myself.

the gentle light makeup range is best and gives excellent coverage. its illimunating making skin come to life but not too shiny.
Do yourself a favor and spend the best 2 bucks ever.

Go to LAminerals.com and order a $1 sample of the Cinderella Yella Hide It concealer. It's specifically designed for dark spots and undereye. I use it EVERY MORNING!! It's really creamy feeling and feels wonderful. Little goes a long way..I'll warn ya ahead of time!

Spend your other buck on a sample of the Hollywood mineral foundation. Great coverage...feels light as air, great price.
wear a black bin liner with two holes arond the eyes!!!

Have skin from your bum grafted to your face at a burn treatment center.
Try Murad's Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel... good luck!
I have the same exact problem..... i heard that getting a glycolic peel can help..... I tried mederma and it helped but it wasent WOW.....Good luck! And God bless you!
me too! I use vitamin A, and a little bit of patience.
exfoliate regularly and use a lightening treatment. I like the one from Jan Marini. I have used it for a year now (I am 40)and my face is almost even and blemish free. It is costly (around $40) and has to be bought from a salon, but worth it.
omqsh;i have the same problem...lolsz...use blend nd tone
I would use Retin A. Just a basic skin peel. Women soemtimes use it around their eyes, for their crows feet.. it slowly peels the skin away, but it can really burn your skin if you're not careful with it. I use to get frustrated with my skin and just wanted it to peel off ASAP. Bad idea! Your face will be a big flake if you do that. Skin peeling off everywhere.

I had horrible scarring acne when I was younger.. I went on Acctuane, and after the spots cleared from my face, I could just see how much damage it all did around my mouth. Like near my face line and corner or my mouth from all that picking and squeezing. Pok marks.

It takes about a year for it to fully disappear.. I notice with people who are usually darker skinned, scar easier, so the scar's stick around a lot longer. Which is ok, but be patient with your treatment if you get it.
brown paper bag comes to mind
    use some treatmen
