How to get rid of the spots under my eyes?

I got these darker spots below my eyes, they're not bags, but they're little dark spots under there I want to get rid of.





I'm not sure to why I have them because I get more than 8 hours of sleep each night. I do spend a lot of time behind the monitor though and I have heard somewhere that it can cause dark spots below your eyes. I don't know if that is true or not..
