I tan a few times a week in a tanning bed and my face was dry and peeled a little the last couple of times I tanned, now my face is discolored. i have a few spots on each of my cheeks where the skin is darker. I tried an exfoliating scrub to get rid of the dead skin but the dark spots are still there. What can I use?How do I get rid of dark spots on your face from tanning in a tanning bed?
There really isnt a way to get rid of the spots if you have tried exfoliating and that hasn't worked. Until then use bronzer. To make sure this doesnt happen again, make sure you are using a tanning lotion. This will keep your skin from getting dry and you wont end up with these spots. Lotions can run from 10$-100's of $$s, but they are well worth it if you want to avoid these awkward discolorations. You really shouldn't. It increases your risk for skin cancer, even causes it.


I know me saying this probably won't change your mind, but if you're smart you'd take my advice.

So, the spots will go away if you stop tanning, most likely.


Sometimes spots like that are a sign of skin cancer.
